Ok, if she went by ship, how long would it take, and how expensive was that? (Remember, by the 1960's, air travel was already turning the ocean liners into cruise ships.) Everything I've seen on a quick
search says a one way trip would take at least a month. Then at least another month back with a newborn baby.
