You know, considering all of the tragedy and sorrow in the world today, the Rapture would be welcome here.
That being said, I don’t wish for it. That means that anyone who hasn’t been saved is lost for all eternity.

You make it sound like G-d doesn't know what he is doing. The Rapture will occur when the last person who will accept Jesus has accepted Him. Even if my statement turns out not to be true, G-d will provide for those left behind to accept Him, even though they will suffer during the last three and a half years of the Tribulation. IMHO
