How many school days to create a homocide bomber?
It surprised me. Not in the sense that he hates Israel. That should surprise no one. But to actually come out and publicly take a stand against arguably our closest ally is beyond me. Not only that but the speech didn’t even please the Muslims!
On the issue of Israeli security vs a Palestinian state Obama has now has no friends, no allies and nobody who will trust him.
I would love to know what Obama supporter Ed Koch (former NY mayor) would have to say about this. Koch said Palin was dumb, but Koch looks like the idiot to me . . .
It shows that the office of the Presidency is still very important. Obama says a word about Israel and the Israelis immediately send are folks to America. That is incredible. Is the 1967 (their independence) agreement not good? I mean is it better for Israel now???? I guess it must be or they would not be freaking out. lol.
Netanyahu’s visit was planned long before Obama spoke against Israel.
Oh such coincidences....
Jews and Christians alike better wake up; all of them. I keep reading posts pointing out the Liberal Jews who voted for Hussein without any mention of all the Christians that voted for Hussein. Hussein’s allies, the Muslim terrorists, want Jews and Christians gone. That’s a reality.
We have members of Congress who are deaf, dumb, and blind to that reality. They should be named and sent home in 2012.
BTTT
There was no coincidence. The classless jerk in the Oval Office took the occasion of Netanyahu’s impending visit to jamb his thumb in Bibi’s eye. This time, hopefully, Barry’s Chicago thug bully behavior will backfire on him.
I don’t know. He seems to be able to deflect a lot of stuff. Any other President would have zero chance at reelection. This guy is scary because he can do anything and still remain intact. I think it was dumb to even mention Israel as if it is our business. Of course last week some folks here were upset because he DID’T mention Israel. Some ship went into their waters or something. Either Obama gets in Israel’s business or he doesn’t. He and the American people have to make up their minds as to what they want the President to do. Leaving it up to Obama himself is a mistake because he speaks when he shouldn’t and doesn’t speak when he should.
Netanyahu visit today in the Oval Office with numb nuts was a classic kiss my as@. Netanyahu ripped King Obama a new one. King Obama looked sick.
What's upsetting is that it places Israel in a very poor position, even before the negotiation process. If the administration wanted to discuss this with Israel before the process, they should have done so privately, through channels.
As for the Muslims, they're taking the hard line because they see this for what it is; our hanging Israel out to dry. They're simply stating what they think, both of Israel and the current administration.
I doubt that very much. This was a public power play before the meeting. There's no doubt in my mind the timing had everything to do with today's meeting. Unfortunately for Obama, the point was so egregious, and a non-starter with Israel (as it should be, not to mention the Hamas outright rejection), that it only made Obama out to be the fool.
It wasn’t just anti-Israel, but anti-American by extension.
I asked myself who does he think he is, President of the Middle East? President of the “Arab World?” Leader of the “Arab Spring?” He’s gotten carried away with himself and his true sympathies shining there for all who have eyes to see and ears to hear.
This is exactly what I said when I called the White House comment line. I couldn’t believe I went so far as to ask, “Why doesn’t he just come out and say he is muslim?”
That was when the operator hung up on me.
I think there is something in the Koran about non-Muslims paying a tax to Muslims. Obama has increased large amounts of aid to Arab countries while at the same time increasing our debt and financial instability.
