Federal Judge Blocks Utah Amnesty Enforcement Provisions
Youth for Western Civilization ^ | May 12, 2011 | William L. Houston

Repeat after me: there is no such thing as a "compromise" with Democrats on immigration.

Say it ten times if that it is what it takes for the truth to sink in. Consider this article an episode of Reading Rainbow with William L. Houston on amnesty and immigration policy.

The whole argument for "comprehensive immigration reform" was blown completely out of the water yesterday when a federal judge blocked the toothless enforcement provisions of the "Utah compromise" less than 24 hours after going into effect.

The ACLU sued Utah on the grounds that it didn't like the wrapping paper of enforcement that was grafted onto the Utah Republican Party's big kickback of two guest worker programs to the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce.

By some incomprehensible reasoning, the guest worker amnesty program where Utah entered into a foreign alliance with the Mexican state of Nuevo Leon was "constitutional" and doesn't violate the "federal supremacy clause," but police officers checking the immigration status of criminal aliens who have no legal right to be here was a violation of their "civil rights" or some nonsense along those lines.

Clark Waddoups, a federal judge appointed by George W. Bush (R-Chamber of Commerce), peered into the Constitution and discerned that "irreparable harm" would be caused to illegal aliens who lack the documents to verify their immigration status in traffic stops.

You know what pisses me off?

- When I go into a bar or nightclub, I have to present my driver's license to get into the establishment.

- When I go through a roadblock, I have to show proof of insurance, a valid driver's license, and a car tag that costs me hundreds of dollars.

- When I want to buy alcohol or tobacco, I have to present my driver's license at convenience stores.

- When I want to get on an airplane, I have to put up with the hassle of the TSA.

You know what else pisses me off?

Among other things, I have to pay income taxes, buy my own groceries, pay for health insurance and automobile insurance, observe every single law and regulation that I dislike, and work through the political process to change legislation which I find morally objectionable.

OTOH, an illegal alien in Utah who breaks into this country in the middle of the night gets to live on my tax dollars which pays for his EBT Card and Medicaid and gets a literal bona fide "get out of jail free" card and all sorts of other goodies from the government like free public education for his children and in-state tuition in some states when they go to college.

Which brings me back to Barack Hussein Obama.

The DREAM Act Imperative

Guess what?

If a federal judge blocking the meaningless enforcement provisions of the Utah amnesty wasn't enough for one day, Barack Obama and Harry Reid are back pushing the DREAM Act again.

What version of the DREAM Act is this now? Does anyone know? I've lost count. It was defeated three times alone last year. Now the Democratic Senate is going to waste even more time on pandering to illegal aliens than doing something effective about gas prices.

Harry's latest scheme is to engineer a "compromise" with the Republican House where a federal E-Verify bill is attached to the DREAM Act in exchange for Republican support.

Wait a minute ... haven't the Democrats opposed E-Verify just about everywhere in the country this year? Since when are Democrats for E-Verify? They just voted against E-Verify in Alabama, Georgia, and Florida. Gov. Lincoln Chafee got rid of E-Verify in Rhode Island.

I almost spit out my coffee this morning when I heard that Obama was recently in Texas describing his latest amnesty plan as "an economic imperative."

How are politicians able to get away with lying so brazenly? Does he think voters are stupid or something?

Isn't it obvious that the real "economic imperatives" here are lowering gas prices, reducing the unemployment rate, and cutting the national debt? Why doesn't Barack Obama want to talk about those imperatives?

Maybe it is because he has raised gas prices, increased unemployment, and more than doubled national debt since becoming president, so some other "imperative" must be found. He is so full of **** that even Lindsey Graham isn't buying this.

In the State of Florida alone, there are 404,250 illegal aliens and 904,107 legal immigrants on EBT cards. There are 1,068,151 illegal aliens and legal immigrants in Florida on Medicaid.

Are you telling me we need more of them to come here? The federal government has to raise the debt ceiling in order to avoid going bankrupt and Barack Hussein Obama describes in-state tuition for illegal aliens as an "economic imperative."

Actually, it says more about his "economic priorities," which are rewarding all the Democratic racial grievance groups that support him with shiny new presents from the treasury.

If illegal aliens don't get their DREAM Act before the election, Luis Guiterrez has threatened to take his toys and go play ball with some other party. All the more reason to tune out these liars, I say.

The Donald has the slogan of 2012, You're Fired!

Certainly the Utah legislature can rescind the parts of the law approved by the federal judge ~ and leave the parts he didn’t like intact.

It IS “an economic imperative” to Obama and to most Democrats. If they don’t get amnesty passed before the 2012 election, they’ll be out of a job and their economic situation will be negatively effected. They know they’re going to need that 12-20+ million illegals to vote them back in.

And they probably will get them. It is going to be hard to stop King Obama's communists pressure to get it done.

Let me know when the revolution starts, because we are at the point where, without one, we as a nation, as a constitutional republic, are finished. We may or may not survive with a revolution, but without one we are doomed. You have no idea how much it pains me to say that, but that is where we are. God help us.
