Been a Tiger fan since the day i was born.....family rule.
I fervently second that statement!
A normal campaign is the last thing I want to see. If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got. This country needs a radical change of direction. We need to kick out the freeloaders and thieves of tax dollars. The ability to think "outside the box" is required and the only one I see who is capable of doing that is Sarah Palin.
Palin is an unconventional politician. She doesn't play by the rules.
Like I said I hope for your sake she runs but I don’t think she will.
A truly excellent piece!
All of your comments on this thread have been laughable, but this one is a knee-slapper. For one thing, "debates" haven't been real debates for quite some time now, considering that the media are not neutral "hosts" of such events. That includes Fox News.
For another (and this is what made me LOL), you think Sarah Palin needs "a chance to tell the voters what (her) position on the issues is"! Did you just wake up from a 2-year nap or something?
I don’t have a clue as to if Palin runs or not, but I hold out hope she will.
If she does commit, I think the Williwaw from Wasilla will hit the campaign trail like a human dynamo. Her opponents will not know what hit them, there is no one on the current political scene who can even come close to her for doing the demanding Iowa and New Hampshire one on one retail politics.
Her campaigning history was to be everywhere and anywhere, from the inner city to the rural cross road, to meet and have dialog with large or small crowds, and individuals, wherever she encountered them.
It? I do not know what “it” is, and cannot describe “It,” but you either have “it” or you don’t, and one thing I do know for sure, Sarah Pain has “it” in spades.
“For another (and this is what made me LOL), you think Sarah Palin needs “a chance to tell the voters what (her) position on the issues is”! Did you just wake up from a 2-year nap or something? “
No I like Palin OK but I don’t blame her for not wanting to put her family through the horrible smear that the MSM will bring down on them. It will be horrific and there is no way around it. Sarah Palin is making millions of dollars and probably having a good time. God bless her. She can read the polls. She is not going to run. I know it just totally drives you nuts to have me say it. Sorry. You need to start thinking about who your second choice is.
Look at what the Tea Party supported candidates are trying to do in congress and look at how the establishment GOP are trying to thwart them. We need a tea party minded leader in the White House. We have that chance with Palin in 2012. I hope we can all get with the program. My prediction; Palin will run and get elected and tea party endorsed candidates are going to squash the oppositions in both parties. We have the makings of a tea party landslide.
OK she’s going to run and win and be President. I’m pumped.
I now understand your thinking. I will tell you that this isn't "about the money" with the Palins. They would be happy with or without money. As far as family, if Sarah is called to serve, her family is four square behind her. Trust me. People have become so cynical that they don't believe their are people like the Palins out in the country. You would really benefit from reading her two books. You'll have a better understanding if you do.
No, it doesn't drive me nuts, Psychic Georgia Girl 2, but your telling everyone to "start thinking about who your second choice is" does. When was the last time you talked to and Sarah? I guess Free Republic should be honored having such a close confidant of Sarah Palin's posting here. (or maybe you're an even closer friend of another potential candidate?)
“(or maybe you’re an even closer friend of another potential candidate?)”
So true. Herman Cain who has actually announced his candidacy and shined in the first debate.
“You need to start thinking about who your second choice is.”
And yours is?
BTW the spectacle Fox put on in SC wasn’t a “debate” by any reasonable measure - it was nothing more than a Q&A session and frankly as boring as paint drying. The second tier need to seriously lift their game on that crappy showing.
IMO Sarah has one big chance to turn it around.
The next time she does an interview and the reporter attempts to do a Couric on her, she has to hand him his head, as Trump, Reagan or William F. Buckley would do so well, in their utterly different ways.
Then she has to do the same with the next few who try the same trick.
If she does this successfully, the claims of her unreadiness, intellectual inadequacy and poor preparation will be blown out of the water. If she doesn’t do this, they will be confirmed, not necessarily in reality, but most certainly in the minds of all but her diehard supporters, which might be able to get her the nomination, but can never win her the election by themselves.
It’s sad she isn’t held to the same low standard as Joe Biden, but such is life.
