This article has a rather triumphant tone, but it is good to hear the Speaker taking a harder line against tax hikes.

Take this article and others I found to the fight to the Libs on their own turf; put the Left on the defensive at at Digg and at Reddit and in Delicious and Stumbleupon

Mr. B is talks a good game, but so far has played like a loser. No wonder that 52% of repubs would vote 3rd party! If the Speaker wants to impress me and secure his job, he better start to play like team Odumbo, . . . For KEEPS!!!

Don’t hold your breath waiting for him and the GOP leadership to actually follow through on any of these grand pronouncements. He’s just trying to pump sunshine up everyone’s skirts to turn down the heat he’s been taking recently. I’ll believe it when I see some action and that means following through and fighting to implement the will of those who voted them into office.
