He makes a good point about leading vs representing the people but Cain still beats Santorum in my book. I personally feel no need to see the Bin Laden photos but think anyone who would base a vote on that issue alone is an idiot.

I think debates are the most ridiculous thing ever. If only they asked pertinent questions and Republicans ALWAYS think our person won.....every single time. Until the candidate (John McCain) lost the presidency he won every single debate per the Republicans and then suddenly Obama beat him in the election and suddenly McCain was a loser in all debates too.......it is pretty funny. I guess we will do it again with our candidate vs Obama. Obama will lose every debate. However, this time whether our candidate wins or loses the debates. At least I hope he or she wins the election.

I'd take it a point further.

Santorum is not leadership material.

He might be right on the issues, but he is not a leader.

I think we should have bi partisan debates even if we have to bring in non candidate democrats for elections like the next where Obama is the presumed democrat nominee.

Maybe we might not get saddled with a guy like McCain who sucked all the way through till everybody else dropped out and tossed their delegates to him.

The Republican Party has done absolutely nothing to prevent another McCain from being nominated. NH still has a primary open to non-Republicans.

“Ron Paul is not a conservative! He’s a liberal!

His social policy cancels out his so-called fiscal policy, and his national security policy sounds like he’s been smoking too much of his social policy!”

Greatness! A line for the ages. lolol

Someone posted on Facebook earlier today a great point. (paraphrased from memory)- Ron Paul, the so-called champion of sound fiscial policy and auditing the fed, since he has been the chairman of the finance committee has done what- jack s***.

I actually think he would rather have these issues to talk about than have them resolved. Remember, he is a career politician. He does so much to undermine the very issues he champions. He calls for an ‘independent audit of the fed’ then writes a book titled ‘End The Fed’- completely killing the independence of his audit call.. then, he votes against it because it doesn’t guarantee ending it.

That’s just one example.

He did a great job of explaining his problems with libertarianism.

Kinda like Dennis Kucinich talking about impeaching Bush in the final weeks of the administration. He knew damn well it wasn't going to happen but his followers ate it up.
