Profiles in Incompetence

The sixteen hours Obama spent goofing off while our magnificent SEALS had to wait around for what should have been the ultimate no brainer should have been spent doing at least a minimum of planning.

Sending in the SEALS without a plan for the aftermath is what has enabled the Obama administration to turn a great moment into a typical Obama train wreck. Did no one in the administration bother to consider the possibility that the photos could become an issue?

First, we were told the government would release the photo of the results of Navy SEALS vs bin Laden. The photos never materialized, unless you happened to be a member of the ruling class.

Yes they will, no they won’t and it’s not good for you to see anyway.

The same administration that missed no detail when it came to arranging a fancy funeral for bin Laden never got around to developing a coherent plan for managing the morning after.

Obama’s incompetence is squashing whatever bump he got for allowing our SEALS to take bin Laden out.

“... turn a great moment into a typical Obama train wreck...”

“A man's accomplishments in life are the cumulative effect of his attention to detail.” John Foster Dulles

“O’s” mismanagement of this event is further proof, if any is needed, that what goes on in this Administration is dangerously atavistic. Institutionalized incompetence comes to mind.

The time was undoubtedly spent with his insanely left-wing handlers and they were considering political ramifications in terms of moving their insane far-left agenda forward, i.e., “workers of the world unite”, etc. I’m sure plenty of time was spent considering the political ramifications of doing nothing, i.e., calling off the mission.

That’s why there was no time spent thinking about the simple common sense duties of protecting America.

The more pragmatic wing of the insanely far-left, i.e., Dillary, Panetta, etc., as well as the professionals involved (not politically appointed), realized the mind-bogglingly (is that a word) obvious that after 10 stinkin’ years of this idiots face being on top of our “most wanted” list that the thing to do is shoot the sob.

Now that it’s done, we need to do a VERY HARD TACK and focus every media weapon (pull out all the stops) on laying off bureaucrats as the #1 first most insanely obvious step in curbing spending. Military (frozen), SS (COL increase based on food, fuel and medicine), MedCare (frozen) need to be COMPLETELY OUT OF THE DISCUSSION. Dept. of Education needs to be the first to go. I don’t want to hear about ANYTHING FROM THIS GOV’T UNTIL DEPT. OF EDUCATION IS GONE AND ITS BUILDINGS IN DC DEMOLISHED.

There, that felt good (since no one on planet earth is listening to me). It’s like wetting myself with a dark suit on, it gives me a warm feeling but nobody notices.

The sixteen hours Obama spent goofing off while our magnificent SEALS had to wait around for what should have been the ultimate no brainer

Obama took SIXTEEN HOURS to make up his mind about Bin Laden mission .... Barack Obama kept military commanders hanging by declaring he would 'sleep on it' before taking 16 hours to give the go-ahead to raid Bin Laden's compound. .... The mission looked set to be given the all clear last Thursday when analysts confirmed beyond doubt that Bin Laden was in busy town of Abbottabad in northern Pakistan. ..... But the president stunned officials when he told a national security meeting that he wanted more time to think - and disappeared out of the room. 'I'm not going to tell you what my decision is now - I'm going to go back and think about it some more,' said Obama, according to the New York Times.
