Being as how we managed to fly SEALs into the heart of Pakistan to accomplish the mission without any interference from Paki authorities, one suspects that there has to be a lot of high-ranking Pakis on our side.

If there was as much Pakistani assistance, why woul those high ranking officials want Osama to be arrested in the Pakistani heartland?? If they wanted they could have easily have Osama whisked off to the Tribal badlands and avoided all the criticism that Pakistan is getting for having Osama stay in Abbotabad. Besides if there was factionalism involved, you can be certain the raid would have been far more bloody.

At best the Pakistanis were informed at the last minute when they would have been to late to shift or protect Osama.
