Since they voted for it once, let us see if they can make it twice. Then we can serve up much more than some 10th Amendment resolution. I'd like to see Gunslinger and his limp wristed friends try to hold us at gunpoint this time.

Huh? What gunpoint? You know every time you put down your fellow Americans, northerners, you're just admitting that you suck worse than they do because you did lose in 1865. lol

Imagine if the war was not about slavery, imagine it was about something else ...like, oh..say the Federal Government forcing people to buy health insurance against their will

Takes on a whole different light

Nothing really new here, just another commie from Illinois. Lincoln, Obama, and Partisan.

The state of Lincoln, Reagan, and Grant. I was hoping that Sherman was from Illinois but alas, Ohio.

Just a bit of water over the dam since 1865, wouldn't you agree? But I guess a few things have not changed:

"I have seen many demonstrations in the South, but I have never seen any so hateful as I have seen here [in the Chicago area] today."

- Martin Luther King, August 5, 1966, quoted in the Chicago Daily News and NYT, August 6, 1966

In other words, "you [self-righteous northern hypocrites still] suck worse." Doubt it? Just look at a Red State / Blue State map sometime...

I did indeed! Touche! Seriously though, you’re amused by my opinions? That’s cool. Could be worse I suppose. :-)

Listen , call me what you will ok, leave my ancestors out of it and I’ll leave your family out of it, fair enough Reb? are you a man to agree to that? And for the last time cowboy, I’m not a liberal. I’m a conservative. If there is anything ‘’liberal’’, look at yourself. You southerners have historically been Democrats. Dixiecrats that is. That’s where liberalism resides. As well as slavery , the Klan, Jim Crow and lynching. We can thank you pos Confederates for that, can’t we?

Well, I'm not surprised one who worships the athiest Rand would support the slaver's rebellion. When I look at a county map I see no difference between north and south. You lost-causer fools are trying to create wedges where none should exist while the liberal socialist enemy is attacking us on every side. I doubt your allegience to the conservative movement and to America because of this. Just like the slavers would've taken foreign help in 1861-1865, I can see you fools aligning yourself with a foreign enemy to get what you want: dissolvement of the union. I don't know what's going to happen in the next year and a half while our internal enemies succeesfully dismantle the dollar, but I know who I won't be aligned with, America-haters, and that's what you are. You prove it every day on these threads.

The state of Lincoln, Reagan, and Grant. I was hoping that Sherman was from Illinois but alas, Ohio.

As much as I liked Reagan, it'll take forty years of him to cure this mess that you good people of Illinois gifted upon us in 2008. And those others - Tyrant, Drunk and Lucifer.

While I'm at it, you claim to support the Constitutional party right? Talk about a lack of principles, just par for the course around your neck of the woods. History has proven that. On one hand you kneel before your Gods, Lincoln, Sherman, Grant, and Obama. On the other you openly support a political party that has rightfully and publicly dismantled the Lincoln myth.

Chuck Baldwin:

More than any other single person, Abraham Lincoln shaped and formed modern America. It was Abraham Lincoln who was the first President to flagrantly and deliberately violate his oath to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States. His disregard and contempt for the Constitution cannot be overstated.

In order to "preserve the Union," Lincoln destroyed the very principles upon which the Union was created. His audacity is without equal. For example, to prevent a possible vote of secession by the Maryland legislature, Lincoln ordered federal troops to seize and arrest the Maryland congressional delegation. And of course, he was more than willing to sacrifice hundreds of thousands of America's finest and best to destroy Jefferson's declaration that the states of our Union are "Free and Independent States."

I invite all those pro-Lincoln apologists out there to seriously answer this question: Does an abusive husband who beats and batters his wife have the right to force her (at the point of gun) to remain married to him? (Even the God of the Bible, Who cast marriage in the most sacred terms, recognizes the right of lawful separation.) If you answer no, how can you continue to justify Abraham Lincoln's actions? In a political and governmental sense, that is exactly what Lincoln did. Forced union, of any kind, is slavery. In the name of emancipating slaves, Lincoln enslaved an entire nation.

It was Abraham Lincoln who, for all intents and purposes, destroyed federalism and limited government in America. In fact, on December 15, 1866, renowned British historian, Lord Acton, wrote a letter to General Robert E. Lee. In the letter, Acton said, "I deemed that you were fighting the battles of our liberty, our progress, and our civilization; and I mourn for the stake which was lost at Richmond more deeply than I rejoice over that which was saved at Waterloo."

It was Abraham Lincoln who first established the Nanny State, Big Government, Big Brother, etc. Everything that Big-Government Presidents such as Woodrow Wilson, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Lyndon Johnson, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama learned, they learned from Abraham Lincoln. That is why these men love to quote Lincoln so much.

What is appalling is the manner in which the American people (including professed conservatives and Christians) have allowed the politically correct propaganda machine to brainwash their reasoning. Conservatives and liberals, and Democrats and Republicans, now embrace Abraham Lincoln's America. As Newsweek said, "We are all socialists now." Baldwin

Liar.

I vote straight Republican in every election except twice: George Ryan and John McCain because both of them are Democrats. The CP was the least kooky of the 3rd party kooks...but even then not as bad as Obama and McCain.

Yes, Baldwin's a kook, but not a 1st amendment buster like McCain and Obama.

CALLING ALL YOU JOHNNY AND JANEY REBS OUT THERE AND ALL YOU BILLY YANKS TOO!!!(hey that’s me!) Listen UP! Have Y’all ever heard of an organization called The Civil War Trust?(www.civilwar.org) (1-800-298-7878) If you have and you’re a contributing member-AS I AM- then great! If you don’t then check this out. This is a group of Americans from all points on the compass who are working to save Civil War battlefields sites from disappearing to urban sprawl and the developers bulldozer. Large tracts of Civil War battlefield sites have already been lost and dozens of more sites are in danger of disappearing as well if they’re not saved and soon! I think I can be bold enough here to say I speak for all of us, including my two favorite little crocuses-on-the-compost heap ‘’central va’’ and ‘’coboyway’’ when I say if would be a sorry state of affairs indeed if someday our kids and grandkids would have to watch The Battle of Bull Run or Shiloh or any other Civil War battle being reenacted in the parking lot of a Marriot Hotel or a Walmart. So if you don’t want that to happen, go to their web-site, www.civilwar.org or call 1-800-298-7878 and make a donation. Do it today. And then you can go back to hurling brickbats at my smart-ass Yankee butt.

If every conservative would've voted like me, we would have had neither McCain nor Obama in the office.

The bottom line is that if you and the idiots that wasted your votes on an obscure third party had voted for the repub 0bama would still be voting present in the senate!

It's not a Republican primary when so many Dems are voting in our primary elections.

I guess that's the problem with free elections. Perhaps you and your totalitarian minded yankee buddies have a better solution....

Would the Tea Party have gotten going if McCain would've won?

Well, that makes 0bama's election easier to stomach. [/sarc]

Idiot.....

You're a John "take away freedom of speech" McCain lover.

I would have taken McCain/Palin any day over your choice of 0bama/Biden.

lol

Having a marxist in the Oval Office ain't funny to me, pal.

Apparently you're not aware about what the Administration of this site has said about McCain. Why would anyone vote for a man who wants to take away freedom of speech and has been successful in that?

Perhaps you'd like to ask him who he'd rather have in the White House: McCain/Palin or, your choice, 0bama/Biden?

I voted CP. You can't keep from lying can you.

You're in a severe state of denial.

Fact: every vote for an obscure third party in the 2008 election was a vote for 0bama/Biden.

Every post of yours is further proof the good side won in 1865.

Every post of yours if further proof that FR needs another liberal purge.

Yeah, if we're Republicans, then it should be a Republican primary. Why vote for a 1st amendment buster chosen by the Dems and their traitor media?

Well, that makes 0bama's election easier to stomach. [/sarc] Idiot.....

The sooner we hit rock-bottom the sooner we can destroy our enemies. McCain would've made things worse because then the conservative punditry would've been compelled to defend his Democrat ways.

It's not my fault you voted for a first amendment buster McCain. When the Republican Party put up this Democrat, we should have all moved on to whichever 3rd party was the least kooky. Baldwin's a kook, but he wouldn't have busted the Bill of Rights as McCain did with the 1st amendment and Obama will do with the rest if he has the chance.
