You misunderstood. He told me of this years ago, that they knew where OBL was, and what the circumstances were. He of course didn’t tell me of this particular attack, although he has in the past given me very general “heads ups” that they were striking an unnamed HVT (which they did).
DNA: as one of 75 siblings born to mothers all related to the father (mostly sets of cousins, many of whom were also sisters) this is one very dense gene pool. This dead guy could very easily be a related double. As to just looks: His DNA is going to line up with his sister's DNA just fine. If looks were the only criterion,this afternoon in Riyadh I could find 50 guys who look just like bin Ladn.

bin Ladn, as are many Saudis and Yemenis, was a genetic medical mess. He was deaf, twitchy, had eye problems, joint problems, and needed frequent dialysis. Makes perfect sense for him to be in Pakistan's premier military town with a collection of very good hospitals and many specialists, and surrounded by elite security units.
For your argument: We have no idea when this actually went down, and how much or how little the Mombasa Moonbeam had to do with it. The timing of the news release for impact all day on Monday and the immediate disposal of the body does not, like all of Kid Kenya's operations, smell very good.
As a PR Coup structure: Perfect. 1st we have the mystical BC purporting to "prove," that this guy is as American as Coca-Cola and Apple Pie through his birth in Hawaii. Then, we have him connected to military glory against Muslim terrorism. Who in their right mind, would suspect this paragon of American virtues of being ineligible to hold the office because he is not a "Natural Born Citizen?"

As long as we knew where he was, I could see why there was no urgency to kill him, or even capture him. Better to keep him alive, and lull him into a false sense of security. Also, avoid turning him into a martyr back then, when his popularity was much higher than it is now.

BTW, question on the new Maine etiquette: what wedding gift do I get a Muslim chap who is taking his 4th wife? Touch-and-go-here. I mean I don't want to get the other wives jealous. IMHO, the Welfare people have been quite niggardly with the Section 8 apartments, so that two wives have to share a place. What is Maine coming to?
A nicely wrapped first-grade girl to serve as wife-in-training until she's mature enough to take on marital duties (generally no later than the end of second grade) is a thoughtful and generally accepted gift.
It's pretty obvious that the Section 8 rules as they stand now are anti-Muslim. Should be 4 wives, 4 bedrooms.
With big-screen TV's of course.
