You need to purchase a book

the author is RENALD SHOWERS

The book is titled, MARANATHA! OUR LORD COME!

It takes too long to retype his points, but I guarantee you, God never told His peole to expect tribulation unless He was expecting His people to expect tribulation, as He did warnign Israel of their need to repent many times.

The Bible NEVER tells Christians to expect a coming judgement, especially one that lasts 7 years and culminates in His return, the bible is silent on any such idea

Buy the book, I guarantee you will find it important.

As for the elect, Showers covers that, too. I believe Jesus was referring to a time different than the rapture

1. Reference chapter and verse where the Bible teaches plainly a 7 year tribulation. Revelation uses the word "seven" (7) 40 times, and NEVER in reference to years! The persecution of the beast last 42 months, 1260 days or 3 1/2 years.

2.The word "tribulation" occurs 21 time in the KJV: Only 4(!) times it refers to the last days (Matt 24:21 & 24:29, Mark 13:24, Rev 7:14). The iother times it refers to the suffering of Christians! Read John 16:33 for Jesus plain warning of coming tribulation.

3. In the NT, Tribulation ALWAYS refers to the suffering of the saints! Look it up! It NEVER refers to sufferings of non-Chsristians.

4. Read the scriptures for yourself, don't follow someones "teachings", especially if the scriptures teach the exact opposite of what the "teacher" asserts!
