Yeah, Okay, It's Racism, You Liar
Dean C. Haskins
If there is one thing I have learned since the last presidential campaign, it is that Obama's myriad supporters (common folk) and worshipers (media) are either incapable of, or unwilling to, understand that our forefathers, when framing the Constitution, used a then-commonly-understood term when defining the requirements for holding the office of president; and, because that requirement has never been altered through the process of amendment, nor has the simple, historic definition of the term ever been changed, many of Obama's followers commonly take the path of least intellectual resistance, and level a uniform accusation at those who know the facts: RACIST!
Allow me to demonstrate their logic. Let's say that I am looking for a dependable used car, and I happen to see a Ford advertised at a reasonable price; and, from the advertisement, it appears that it is in very good condition. However, when I go to see the car, I discover that there are things about it that make it not even roadworthy. When I try to discuss the various problems with the vehicle, the owner doesn't know enough about them to even comment about the mechanical shortcomings, but tries to point out how nicely the exterior paint has held up. Again, I go back to the fact that it would not even be legal to put the car onto the road, but he keeps telling me what a pretty shade of blue it is. So I let him know that I will not be buying his car, and try to explain to him that, before he tries to sell the vehicle to somebody else, those issues will have to be properly addressed. As I walk back to my car, the owner angrily yells, Yeah, I knew you hated blue Fords.
We all know that many people voted for Barack Obama for no other reason than because he looks like a black man, which truly is racist; but isn't it ironic that it those people who cannot understand that anyone could have anything against him that is not based upon racial prejudice? They simply cannot fathom that it is largely they who are the purveyors of racism in this country. Granted, I am not simple enough to believe that there are not racist people on both sides of this argument; however, not understanding the argument is not a sufficient reason for one to call someone who makes the argument a racist.
When Bill Clinton lied under oath, he broke the law, and Americans who held the law in regard demanded that he resign or be removed. When Richard Nixon tried to obstruct justice by covering up a crime, he lost his job. Neither of those examples had anything to do with the person's race, but everything to do with the fact that they acted outside of the law.
Liberals like to pretend that our Constitution is a fluid document, meaning that, like in Communist countries, it can be changed on a whim to fit the current desires of the government. However, our forebears wrote a definitive document that, historically, has served this nation better than any other on the planet. But, whether one wants to view it as fluid or definitive, what cannot be denied is that it is the highest law of our land; and since we are a nation of laws and not a nation of man, the rule of law cannot be cavalierly discarded simply because our political correctness renders us unwilling to follow it.
Yes, there have been times when that definitive document has needed to be changed, and the framers understood that would happen, so they added Article V, which gave us that ability. And, since it is a definitive document, an amendment is the only way the laws that are established within it can be changed. Those laws are not changed by elections, as so many today falsely believe.
And, while we're on the topic of definitive, let's look at a definition. As discussed, the highest law in our land is the Constitution, and within that document, the framers required that a president be a natural born citizen. But, what is a natural born citizen? That term obviously meant something to the framers, or they wouldn't have included it in such an important work. Natural born citizen does not mean simply citizen, as there would have been no purpose for including the words natural born before it if citizen is what our forefathers really meant. It doesn't mean citizen at birth or having at least one citizen parent, because there is no historical basis for either of those definitions. It doesn't mean one who was born in this country, for there would have been no need for the grandfather clause in Article II exempting the framers who were born here from the requirement.
From before the writing of the Constitution, natural born citizen meant one born on our soil to citizen parents. Period. In legal terms, it is the marriage of jus soli and jus sanguinis, which made the requirement for the highest office in the land a specific one (the combination of the right of citizenship by birthplace with the right of citizenship by parentage). That is the only thing it has ever meant. Claiming today that it now means something different does not change the definition any more than claiming that cow now means frog. There is simply no historical basis to claim that the definition was ever changednot by the 14th Amendment, nor by the Supreme Court.
As we have been repeating for many months, Barack Obama's father was never a US citizen, therefore, he is not a natural born citizen according to the historic definition of the term, and is not constitutionally eligible to be president. The Constitution does not even imply that the requirement has anything to do with race.
The outrage that continues to fester in a growing segment of the American population is over the fact that the constitutional requirement has been ignored. It wouldn't matter if Obama was purple, the Constitution is the Constitution. Yes, where he was born does matter, because that is half of the Article II requirement of natural born status; moreover, that issue was certainly not put to rest because another computer-generated picture was posted on the internet. What that image represents may or may not be true; but that is really immaterial, since Obama openly admits to his father's nationality (not his race, for even the so-called birth certificate doesn't address his race), and that immediately disqualifies him from the office.
So, the definition of natural born citizen is NOT one who is elected by the American people, and the definition of racist is NOT one who understands that the law has been broken. However, since so many people seem to have such an open desire to change the definitions of words, let's try this new one out: from now on, when speaking of Barack Obama's constitutional ineligibility, the phrase You're a racist actually means I'm stupid.
BTT
Politics at it's worst.
.Obama..you should be ashamed....whites elected you but you sold out to the man. You rot.
It is the postmodern mentality of libtards that allows them to think that when they misinterpret or misunderstand what someone says, their mistaken belief should be considered correct anyway, because they believe that everybody constructs their own reality.
Well done.
I think EVERY time they throw around the racist slur it should be answered with
“FRAUD is not a color”
I thought of that the other day, feel free to use it anytime :) whether its on signs, shirts, or just in an idiots face...
Very nicely done.
NAILED IT!
Obama hasn’t received 1/100th of the scrutiny, questioning, hostility, or insults that GWB did. THAT in itself is evidence of racism. That you just can’t hold a “black president” to the same standards that every other president has had to adhere to. Especially republican presidents. Hell, even Clinton got grilled by the press.
ping
Very well said; that’s why it’s almost impossible to have a conversation with any of them.
Worthy of a bookmark.
Baby killers shouldn’t call people names.
Very well said, Sir!!!
Simple enough for a liberal to understand.......er, maybe not.
