Our uncle had a dairy when we were growing up. He gave all the relatives milk. Over half of my cousins tested positive for TB—linked back directly to the cow herd. We were dairy farmers also, but faithfully pasteurized our milk. We were fine. Wonder if the Amish test their herds for TB? Probably not. Just a heads up for drinking unpasteurized, untested milk.

On the other hand, the smallpox vaccine was invented when Thos. Salk discovered that diary maids never got smallpox. “Fresh faced, like a dairy maid. No scars.”
Cowpox confers immunity to smallpox.
How many lives has that saved?

Yep. To drink milk that has not been pasteurized is like the idiot that lived with the grizzlies and said 'I love you bear'; they eventually ate him.

Well, because of your anecdotal evidence... we should just toss 'em all in jail. Even though there were no complaints filed. Maybe especially because no complaints were filed. After all, it says right there in the Constitution that the FedGov can toss people in jail over milk.

Testing positive for TB is not the same as having it. My mother’s family got their milk from their cow with a T branded on her cheek. She always tested positive, but she never has never had TB.
