They’re still there, and they’re still in use on firing ranges. Insignificant they may be, they still change hands. I remember walking into a gun in CT, and seeing two or three Class III firearms for sale.

So I guess that comes out to a 1:50,000 chance of seeing one for sale.

If it is your contention that we, the civilians of the USA, are contributing to the bad guys having automatic weapons in in Mexico, YOU ARE FULL OF CRAP!!!!!
The very very few class III weapons that are available in this country are very tightly controlled. Each and every one are inspected by serial number every year. One of those pesky federal law things.
Are you trying to tell us that we have some kind of underground loan system and they have to bring them back before the carriage turns back into a pumpkin???
Not going to happen. If one of those weapons ever got south of the border they would not be mailing it home for any reason. Read my tag line. I'm a retired Ranger, a college educated gun smith,I have sold thousands of firearms, and I still shoot comp. If I didn't know and follow all of the federal gun laws I would be in prison. In most states you will never get a permit to buy or possess a class III firearm. In states where you can buy them after extensive background checks and a huge fee, they are extremely tightly controlled bout before and after the sale. You keep trying to find a hole to wiggle through in this argument. The problem is that you are out of ammo. This whole idea of automatic firearms coming from the USA and going to Mexico is a lie. Those who perpetuate and spread this misinformation are liars.

How can you even construe that from what I first said? I know full well that the supply of full autos in America was limited from when Reagan signed FOPA in 1986. Odds are any full autos the Mexican gangs are getting are newer than that, and they aren’t American made.
