In my meteorology classes, we had a discussion about the lame-brained idea of detonating a nuke in the eye of a hurricane to dissipate it, so we calculated the amount of energy in a hurricane to see how much energy was released per second.
Man cannot even touch that.
It’s ludicrous to think that man’s attempts to control weather might even be partially successful. Even if we were to manage to make some kind of difference, it gets beyond our ability to control it.
This is stuff of science fiction yet. Our current level of technology just doesn’t allow for it.
