At Independence, every natural born subject became a natural born citizen. They are completely equivalent.
NBS included those with two alien parents, and thus so did NBC.
The distinction to me seems to be between natural born citizens and naturalized citizens.
Where is there is some third category where you are a citizen from the moment of your birth, but are not a “natural born” citizen?
It defies logic.
