GOP/MSM in Trumps Corner!

GOP/MSM in Trumps Corner! On April 22, 2011, In Politics, By Ron Reale

I love the way the Republican Party and all its powerbrokers have come together to help elect Donald Trump. It is great to see RINOs and Conservatives both spring to the front lines of “The Donald’s” campaign.

Every time propagandists like Karl Rove point out all “The Donald’s” shortcomings, all that he would need to do to be successful or accepted by the “Mainstream GOP”, (in other words, all the things they themselves have not done), Trump gets stronger.

Every time they fail to bring up the common-sense issues important to the citizens, things like whether we have a legal president, how to deal with China, what to do with the Iraqi oil, you know, little things like that, Trump gets stronger.

“The Donald” did not spend his life striving to run/ruin our lives. Unlike all but a select few of our elected representatives, “The Donald’s” arrogance and attitude of self-importance comes from actually being successful in his chosen fields, (and, at times, a failure, but always bouncing back from it), and creating and building concrete, glass and steel monuments to American capitalism and freedom all around the world.

Donald Trump is America. Donald Trump LOVES America.

He is every one of us. He is not perfect, he is American. We do the best we can with what we have, we make the most of our every opportunity, we dream of better things. We want the truth, as you cannot make correct decisions without all the facts. We state the obvious, because to not do so makes us look weak.

He, and we, do not live in the slime of politics. We live in the real world. We can’t lie to our customers or fellow businessmen if we wish to remain trusted and successful, unlike politicians, who slither from corrupt deal to corrupt deal, stopping at the microphones to lie to us about how they only have the citizens interest at heart.

Trump is different. He speaks his, and, by extension, our minds. When he is asked about obamas birth certificate, he does not obfuscate or run from the common sense answer like the professional politicians do. He answers the question.

He actually will give an opinion about our landlords, the Chinese, and how they are screwing us. When he said he would take over the Iraqui oil fields, both sides of the aisle erupted in disgust and fear, but Americans cheered. Does anyone think the Mexican border would remain a war zone under a Trump Presidency?

So please, MSM, keep asking Trump about the subjects all the others avoid, and you yourselves have never actually wanted answered. He will not run and hide to provide you cover. He will answer your questions honestly, and make you look like fools for not having covered it before this time. Please, professional members of our political apparatchik, please keep denigrating and looking down your corrupt, progressive, Nancy Pelosi-one party-one value-system, noses at “The Donald”.

Every time you open your mouths and give us what you think is a reason to dislike or distrust “The Donald”, we realize just why we need him. Thanks for your help!

Sort of like how the MSM supported McCain in the primaries.

“The vice-president used to be the lightening rod, protecting the president. A savvy New Yorker like Trump would be perfect!”

I can’t see Trump willing to play second fiddle - wish he would be if required...I liked your astute post. While I admire Sarah, she’s young enough to have lots of times to come. But Trump’s the only one I see who can punch back hard enough, consistently, to clean BHO’s clock. Sorry, but just for this time, I think it’ll take a very alpha male to win the fight. I’ve NEVER seen anyone take such complete charge of interviews with hostile, liberal media pros and never miss a beat.

Doubt if he can justify the eminent domain issue. But on many others, I’ve accepted his explanations. Contrary to what his opponents (on both sides) say, he hasn’t been “flip flopping” back and forth (as Romney did) on pro-life. He explained about coming to the light on that. He explained about health care, that times are very different now and we simply can’t afford what we once could. He said he still wants to see people covered, but not with the disaster that Obamacare is. And even the Repubs have said all along that they don’t intend to deny the needy care, but want to craft a good, common sense plan after repealing Obamacare. He’s anti-gun control and gay marriage. He’s addressed (some, with more to come, necessarily) contributions he’s made to Dems in the past (good business sense, particularly in NY and other Dem states).

Bottom line is this - if Reagan ran today, would purists vote for him? Don’t forget his 80/20 philosophy, after all.

Do we require an angelic conservative pure as the driven snow or do we require someone who can kick BHO’s a** out of the White House?

Trump with hard questions does not implode, and he will have some kind of answer. You mentioned Reagan and the purity gap. In reverse, I wonder if the Founding Fathers would recognize us today? I know they would not claim us. Decent leaders are not en vogue that’s for sure. Praying for a dark horse.

I think Trump even expects to win democrat votes as well as Independents and Republican. He is dangerous to Obama.

He has had to pay off the dems in NY as part of their protection racket, so he could do business.
As far as purity goes, none of them are pure, but I want the guy that has proven he can make decisions in all situations, not hide behind “commissions”, and “blue ribbon panels” of retired has-beens that can’t be held accountable.
Politicians got us here, how about a businessman to save us?

If elected—I think he would evoke fear like Reagan did. No one would want to screw with a Trump Presidency. People would be back peddling their anti-Americanism. I also know he would pick good people to work with him—not idealist—socialistic college professors and union guys. He would be an interesting person to run. Like Ike was in the 1950s—he wan’t a political person—nor was Washington. lets see how are he goes. Maybe he’s the one to drain the swamp.

It’s easy to justify the eminent domain “issue”. He did not make the laws, but as an astute businessman, he, or anyone else, would be negligent to their investors if they did not use every legal strategy available to them under our capitalist system.
Throw out the lawmakers, not the ones using the law!

“I sure hope so. They’d better step up soon though.”

-

Homerun comment.

So where are they?...

Lots and lots of nay-sayers piling on Mr. Trump, trying to knock him off the hill.

Nobody yet... Nobody;

is saying one peep however, of the things which put him on top of that hill, to begin with.

Thus, he remains presently, king of that hill.

Brash. Plain-spoken. Patriotic, king of the hill.

Note to GOP also-rans.

The longer you leave Mr. Trump unchallenged on that hill, all alone saying those things. Taking on Obama. Inspiring so many...

The harder it’s going to become to push him off that top. Could be too late already.

Precisely.

The very same people whining about Mr. Trump taking advantage of such an advantage, have no qualms about selling American jobs to China.

Those very same people rationalize (treason) by saying they have a responsibility to their investors.

So which is it, hypocrites?

Anyone for Trump is a dumbass. The guy is NO conservative and has shown himself to be a blowhard and an attention whore. Granted that you may not like the others in the race (declared and otherwise) at this point, but supporting this guy is a joke.

Other than namecalling, perhaps you can opine specifically your objections without insulting those who find Mr. Trump refreshing and brave?

Thanks in advance.

Who do you support? And why are they silent? Are they waiting for the Deus of your posting handle, to be lowered onto the stage as if by magic?

(because frankly, every single other candidate still hasn’t said bupkis, other than Guv Palin who is clearly holding her best back for after she announces)

Speak. Or please stop complaining.

IMHO Palin / Trump (in either combination) is exactly what we need. The more Alinsky-type attacks are directed against Trump, the more I believe that to be true.

“I think Trump even expects to win democrat votes as well as Independents and Republican. He is dangerous to Obama”.

*****

I think you’re right there and I being an Independent black man who votes R most of the time, Trump is the only candidate that would peel some of my black friends away from Obama. The thing they like about Trump is his “say it like it is attitude” and being a billionaire doesn’t hurt either. They would never vote for anyone else like a Romney, Palin, Bachmann, or any of the others. The “alpha male” is the type that needs to bring it to Obama, and Trump is the only one that has at least made a dent in some of their thinking. They respect that confrontational attitude.

You’re right, he can handle any questions with aplomb and directly. He’s a gutsy, smart cookie.

That is interesting. And for the reasons you gave. That is exactly what we all like about Trump—his straight talk. I do believe he will go Left (huge government) on us, which has never helped Americans, black or white. In the name of good our government is buying votes with entitlements and it has finally crushed us financially.
