Because someone once said something like, “If you tell a lie enough times some weak-minded will be convinced it's the truth.”

Because she can’t play the bass like Gomer Huckleberry, she didn’t come up with RomneyCare, she didn’t give loads of cash to Democrats like The Donald and she doesn’t use a teleprompter?

If Sarah is unelectable it is because too many Americans do not want to vote for her and cannot be made to change their mind. There are many such Americans. The question is, are there too many?

As you observe ever higher energy and food prices, continued high unemployment and the country being trashed by a socialist president intent on bringing America down, you just watch how ‘unelectable’ Sarah Palin is.

Sarah should be more electable as Barry.

Because the Propaganda Polls say so, thus causing great “concern” among the thespian conservatives.

Because a clear majority of the non-conservative electorate don't seem to like her.
Honestly, it's not any more complicated than that. Whether there are rational arguments to support that, or whether she is right on the issues from a conservative perspective, isn't relevant to the issue of electability. Whether people should like her more than they do is irrelevant as well. Elections ultimately are popularity contests, and can be influenced as much by personal tastes and idiosyncracies as any other popularity contest.

I worry that the current resident of the Presidential Insane Asylum may have soured voters on any more “firsts” for a long time.
More’s the pity, he may have blown it for truly good men like West and Cain, too.
I feel in my gut that America is hoping for another “fatherly” Reagan candidate who will make them feel “safe” again.

My opinion.

Sad to say, Reagan is dead, there are no more “father-figure” canidiates in the GOP out there. What we need are LEADERS who can lead.

I wouldn’t say she is unelectable.
I would say, however, that she has some serious challenges to overcome if she wants to be elected. Chief among these is that (at this time) she has a serious problem effectively answering off-the-cuff questions from a hostile media. She ends up stammering and misspeaking at times even worse than Bush did. She might be a fantastic President, but I think it will be hard for her to get elected unless she licks that problem.

But with those who had voted for President Obama having gotten soured on him, ending up “staying home” in 2012, it will be ABO as in “Anyone But Obama”.

I think it may be a status thing - she speaks too “country” for the hoi polli. She could improve her electability by occasionally adding “-ing” to a word or two. “Thinkin’, doin’, talkin’”, etc. gets to be a bit much after a while.
Sarah, I love you. You’d make a fine, straight talking, no BS president. Why not work on sounding like one?
