The issue is Obama’s failure to prove his eligibility. The same people bashing “birthers” are the same people who bashed the “Minutemen” during the Amnesty fiasco. (Karl Rove, McCain ...etc)
The last I heard the law is not “American until proven otherwise. At this point Arnold is eligible, George Soros is eligible, the anchor babies on the border are eligible, today’s illegal alien could be tomorrow’s Commander In Chief with this “American until proven otherwise” attitude.
And to think that THIS President’s now getting ready to shove his so-called “Immigration Reform” down the throats of the American people is, in my opinion, somewhat of a conflict of interest and “president” Obama really should recuse himself from having anything to do with the debate and anything else to do with the Amnesty bill.
When public officials accuse the American people of being “conspiracy theorists” and “nuts” when they simply don’t take their word for something, that’s not only insulting, it is the worst kind of chutzpah.
Here is the problem with your comparison to the Minuteman. After trying to discredit them, Rove, McLame, et al got their a$$es handed to them with the amnesty issue. Bush lost big on that mainly because the public saw Mexicans running around everywhere and a disaster on the border.
The BC issue has not gotten any traction at all until Trump ginned it up again. I am not the Glenn Beck, BOR types that dismiss the issue, I just don’t see it going anywhere until something tangible is found that really proves the point. Trump put his money on the table and said he has dug stuff up that he will release. We will see. If he moves the debate toward Obummers SS and lack of paperwork all through his younger life, the MSM may actually have to look into all of it. It is fantastic to watch at any rate.
The problem with Trump is that after the BC issue, what does this guy believe? Am I to give him a pass on those things because he gets somewhere on the BC and end up with another loser President 4 years with clean paperwork? Trump has a lot of clarifications to make on these Romney like flip flops.
