They use to HANG TRAITORS!!
That’s helpful but not entirely encouraging.
I’m just sick about it. That means Bachmann for me. It’s too bad SARA does not discuss this ISSUE!
Michelle Bachmann/Hermann Cain 2012!
And, unfortunately, Bachmann’s chances of winning the general electiion are pretty slim. We needed to go into the 2012 election cycle with a pocket full of political capital. We had that in 2010. We spent it in 2011 in Wisconsin and Ohio. We needed to win the Senate because we never had much of a chance of winning the WH. We still don’t only now, we also have a slimmer chance of winning the Senate. Our situation has, thus, changed and; therefore, so has my thinking. I think maybe we should focus on consolidating our victories in the HOR and at the state levels now. I am not optimistic about our chances of winning the WH or the Senate.
perhaps so...on immigration maybe we could be a nation of petitioners until we get a nationalist in the WH.
This is misleading....Palin said immigrants are important to America...she DID NOT say ILLEGAL immigrants are important to America...and the first little circle says she “said” and then it goes on to add that usual big “but”...I think this is a bunch of donkey poop...for all of the candidates.
I hope you are right but Roy Beck and Numbers are hugely followed by alien-fighting groups. It would help if she would speak as passionately to this as to the union thugs & spending. Aliens are robbing us blind. See here:http://news.yahoo.com/s/usnw/20110412/pl_usnw/DC81249_1
This reveals how they clean up with the Earned Income Credit.
Palin said on Rush last year that she does not support amnesty. Anything she said while McCain’s VP should be taken with a grain of salt because it was McCain’s message, not hers.
This rumor has been debugged a long time ago.
I read it but she does gravitate back to rules. She may just be trying to get the Latino checkmark in. She is a tough call on this issue. She did get to AZ and support Brewer.
Man...if anyone is on the SARAPAC site I wish some FREEPERS would drop some comments to see if they refute the Numbers chart.
Any legislation that legalizes the status of those who broke our laws by entering our country illegally and allows them to stay and work here is amnesty. We must not only prevent the Democrats and some moderate Republicans from hijacking the meaning of the word amnesty, but the public must be made aware about the true impact of an amnesty. The Heritage Foundation concluded that the cost of amnesty alone would be $2.6 trillion. And the number of additional LEGAL immigrants who would join those who were the recipients of amnesty through chain migration, i.e., family reunification, would approach 70 million over a 20-year period, assuming there are only 12 million illegal aliens. We cannot assimilate such numbers. An amnesty would destroy the United States of America with the stroke of a pen.
Obama and McCain are against an amnesty. Cite me anything definitive that shows Palin is against an amnesty as I defined it.
■Despite saying she opposes "amnesty," Gov. Palin has very publicly described her preference for giving legal status to masses of illegal aliens.
■Gov. Palin has said she opposes amnesty and there should be "no free passes" for illegal aliens. However, she seems to define amnesty like most supporters of legalization of illegal aliens.
Source: Gov. Palin interview with Bill OReilly, 12 July 2010.
■Palin has outlined a pathway to legalization where illegal aliens have 60 days to register with the government (those that fail to register should be deported). Palin does not have a clear idea of what to do once illegal aliens have registered, but if illegal aliens do not follow the path to legalization, they should be deported.

Also, why have none of the 2012 candidates (that I know of) not come out and addressed how much we're spending to offer free education, medical and welfare to illegals?
How many billions would that cut from the deficit, DC "leaders"??
The Tea Party is not a hierarchical organization. There is no official position.
could not agree more. on my FB page have tons posted on what they are lapping up. Jenny B did make sure to hold rallies in AZ to support Brewer. our prob is the total crickets from them.We are going to have to get really blunt this time.
It was Bill that said we would do an amnesty.
"OReilly, of course, pointed out the obvious, that this wasnt an ideal situation, and some path to amnesty was necessary because of the sheer number of people involved.
Sarah, on the other hand, said... Palin responded that she would like all illegal immigrants to register and that, in an ideal situation, you deport them. you have to get them out of here.
Sarah was talking about forcing 30 MILLION illegal aliens to register with the government in 60 days or they are automatically deported.
Palin responded that she would like all illegal immigrants to register and that, in an ideal situation, you deport them. You have to get them out of here.
OReilly; "some path to amnesty was necessary"
Palin; you deport them. You have to get them out of here.
Just how many of the 30 million illegal aliens are going to hop right up and trot on down the local Maastricht style Central Registration Office for Illegal Aliens and give their real names for a work permit?
Because that is all they will get from a Republican controlled Congress. IF that much. Or do you believe a Palin Presidency will introduce amnesty legislation from the White House like little bammy?
Amnesty? From Palin? REALLY? You actually believe that?
The inability to think through the tiniest bit of strategy is not a good reflection on this site. It is a problem for far too many FReepers.
.
I live in AZ...right in the area where the illegals cross over and head to Casa Grande in Pinal county. We all see the problems here daily. My schtick is that I am not going to believe anything a talking head says any more...I am going to rely on what my two ears hear the person saying. Remember reading....what is said before a “but” is a lie....well, I believe that...so I listen to what comes after the “but”. As PeeWee Herman said so aptly “everyone has a big but”....we have been led down the prickly path by the ring in our noses put there by the big “BUTS”....that was the point I was trying to make. What I heard Palin say is that we need to secure the borders NOW and then deal with the rest...and that makes sense to me...as long as the rest gets done as well.
Ping!
