Krauthammer also thinks Haley Barbour is the best thing going on the GOP side right now. Some days Charles smokes crack before he goes on the air.

Trump was serious in that is how he measures success with money in the recent Romney analogy. Unless you're a mind reader, you really can't tell us how Trump measures success. Money is only one measure and Trump is far from the only one who might use it as one measure. He also brags about his kids a lot.
But it was taken as a joke by many. I heard it mentioned about three times today and all were laughing about it. Maybe you can show us video of the audience reaction to support your contention. Did they boo him, laugh about it, remain silent?

Krauthammer is either 100% right on an issue, or totally off-base. I certainly agree. I also think that right or wrong, he always merits a hearing.
I've enjoyed Trump's attacks over the last few weeks, and it's great to watch the 'bamites' frustration build.
But let's face it- Trump changes his opinions quicker than he changes his suits. He's remarkably adaptable on every issue save one: Trump.
'bam's just a sock puppet; Soros is the man behind the curtain. Maybe we need a billionaire to fight 'bams billionaire, but I hope not. I suspect Soros and Trump have more in common than they'd have you believe.

The Donald is not our Al Sharpton. He is our Illegal Alien, just doing the work that no Republican is willing to do.
The courts have denied us. Our elected representatives have denied us. The legal means to protesting this usurpation having been denied us, we need Trump.
The issue has reached the famed "awkward" stage. To late to fix. A bit early to start shootin'. Just the right time to unlimber Trump. Play the Trump card until a real Republican is shamed into taking over the job. If none does, well all right then, he's it.

He never wrongfully accused white detectives of raping tawana brawley... or forced a horrible public trial and Trump has never caused race riots or white people to be attacked. He never tried to whip up the public into a racial war... so krauthammer has some strange thoughts. He could have said that Trump is a liberal... he could mention that his agent is rahm emanuel’s brother... he could mention that like mitt romney... Trump has professed in the past to being in favor of abortion... but krauthammer rips Trump because he has the audacity to attack obama... a man that made krauthammer come down with the vapors on election night 2008. I recorded it to DVD for posterity.

What do you mean “come down with vapors”?
To: samtheman
I mean that fred barnes and krauthammer were giddy... they bought into the hopey dopey changey scam... swallowed the entire bait and hook. They were orgasmic on fox... they proclaimed that he would govern as a centrist... gave flowering data as to why that would happen... both despised Bush so they naturally gravitated to obama. I suspect that kraut voted for obama... kraut is a dim... worked for carter and mondull... his family was knee deep in the dim party... raised a rat from birth. barnes is just an idiot.
Others here on FR have stated exactly what I am stating... krauthammer was overcome with joy and admiration and what he thought at the time was the greatest politician since his precious bill clinton. I despise krauthammer... he is a liar and deceiver.

I just wasn’t familiar with the “vapors” expression... but you’re absolutely right, Krauthammer is a dim and Barnes is an idiot... and I dropped cable a long time ago and only watch Faux News occasionally on youtube.
To: LibLieSlayer
...they proclaimed that he would govern as a centrist...Yeah, I remember that, but I couldn't remember who said it. I'm sure that was a required talking point throughout the SRM, though.

Krauthammer: “Trump is the Al Sharpton of the Republican Party”
Well that's a little harsh. At least Trump is a successful business man (no, I'd never support him). Sharpton is just a race baiter charlatan.

” Unless you’re a mind reader, you really can’t tell us how Trump measures success”
He also pointed out how he created jobs etc, on his way to making money.
Donald talks like a common person. It’s not all spit and polish, or mirrors. He simply says I know how to negotiate, create, win and yes even lose.
What you see is what you get. Barry was elected on the what you thought you saw. Now that he’s showing the what you get people are more interested in hearing from straight talkers.
Even with the wind Donald is definitely that.
