Fuzzy Slippers makes a great case for dumping The Donald.
He backed Harry Reid when tea party candidate Sharron Angle was ahead in the polls, and he got government to declare imminent domain on an old lady's house so he could build a parking lot.
She just googled up a little dirt. Imagine what the Obama operatives will do to Trump.
Here's an excerpt from Fuzzy Slippers:
Look, I get it. I was warming to Trump. Big. I even told Adrienne that he was the top of my list of potentials. But then I started watching him more closely, listening more closely, and doing a fair bit of googling (it's amazing what pops up when you search "Soros Trump"). The thing that first garnered my attention and suspicion was the donations to democrat candidates, including (horrifyingly) Harry Reid. Against Sharron Angle, who was up in the polls. Not in some distant past, but last November. OUR November. "Remember November" November.

There now, fixed..

" The problem I have here on FR is with the posters who give every potential Republican candidate an intensive proctological exam to detect the tiniest polyps of RINOvirus..."
Yes, that maybe true, but ? on the other hand, the very same one's seem ( before Trump came on the scene ) to not see or ignore the 800 pound polyps Elephant RINO in the room ( i.e. Mittens Romney, Huckster , John Mclame ).

" Donald Trump is a BSer.
A rich BSer, but still a BSer "
And what about Romney Mittens ?
To: mylife
" NOBODY is attacking Trump for attacking Obama!
Many however are concerned that suddenly this guy is tying himself to US.
He feels like a party crasher.
Nobody in the room knows the guy.
Who let him in?
Whats he doing in my bedroom rifling through the drawers?
Me no like. Bad Ju Ju.
I dont trust him! "
I don't trust Romney Mittens, so what's your point again ?
To: mylife
" I mylife being a member of FReerepublic choose not to be associated with Donald Trump "
Ok, that's your right as a American who you will not vote for, so ? who is your favorite GOP candidate ?
To: American Constitutionalist
There are no candidates at this point.
Well I guess Romney announced.
Who else?
These knuckleheads are all just circling at this point.
Trump is the first one to wade in.
He is gonna be the first one to get knocked out.Let him stick his neck out. I dont care.
What I do care about is that he is bringing discredit on conservatives with his bluster.
I dont give a flying **** if he is rich.
He doesnt carry our message
He is a sideshow freak,
A WWF, PT Barnum carnival barker.
He doesnt have a solid conservative bone in his body.
He is the spitting image of Obama IMHO
Play the very people you claim to represent.
I just cant defend the guy on any level

Trump is an opportunist.
Not a conservative.
Like Obama, he would sell his own Mother for the price of admission.

I am done beating this guy up.
You make up your own minds.
I don’t trust him at all, and I would be wary of calling him a colleague.

Sarah told them from the heart of unionville yesterday that the repubicons need to “Fight like girls”... because America knows that more of our women Conservatives have balls than do our blue blood elite, male leadership. She also told obama, "Game on"!

Definitely more definitive... but I was looking for a bumper sticker.

let's all try to pull down the one guy who is actually gaining traction by tearing down Obama in the media. Yeah, that's the Republican way. It's all green-eyed envy and hissy fits from the self-appointed king makers. Only Levin and company are allowed to decide who's conservative and who's not. As far as I can tell, only the Donald has succeeded in breaking out of the conservative talk radio echo chamber and bringing questions of Obama’s competence and legitimacy to the rest of the world. So yeah, let's tear him down.

As in the past, I’ll vote for whatever incompetent loser the GOP electorate nominates. Since I have never voted for the eventual winner in a primary, I take no responsibility for the idiotic voting habits of the party at large.

It's a two edged sword.
On one hand he's bringing out an issue on which Obama is vulnerable.
On the other he's is a piece of work that represents the worst aspects of liberalism and corporatism, quite willing to use the power and privileges of both state and corporation to run roughshod over any impediment to his ego.
Some are saying “it's all good as long as he throws some good punches”, and others “criticize him all you want on legitimate terms but leave him alone on the BC issue”. I don't know if that is possible; he obviously wants to be the face of some sort of ‘new conservative movement’ of a Ross Perot meets Lee Iacocca type; I feel he thinks he can buy, co-opt, BS or just ignore the Tea Party and other indigenous, grass roots Conservative movements.
Is it the vultures (and no insult meant as vultures are a useful part of the ecosystem) picking over the soon-to-be corpse of the Republican party?

Trump is no conservative. He is a phony and a fraud.
Trump voted for Obama in 2008, referred to Reagan as an empty suit and called Dubya, evil. You can’t make this stuff up. LOL
Trump is a huckster! Period!
