The president signed into law today the $38 billion in budget cuts that the House and Senate approved earlier in the week week. But Obama said that there were certain provisions of the bill that he would not abide by.

Wonder if Boner will let him get away with it? Nahh Boner is tough.
It’s like his promise to use public campaign financing - he ditched it while pronouncing “no one believes more strongly than I do in public financing”. Every statement from this guy is either a lie or has an expiration date based on what is most expedient for him. He knows the media has his back.
Well, hey, he was a senator then, you know? Now 0's a president, and a president has to, you know, not play politics, but put the 'interests of the nation' ahead of petty political stuff, right?

Any person who believed a thing a politician says, especially this politician, is an absolute fool.
I whole heartedly agree that Congress can not legitimately limit from whom the President may or may not seek policy advice.
OTOH, Congress has every right and authority to not fund any such advisors; and to limit their "authority" to only advising, but not administering.
“I have ZERO trust or faith in my own government.”
I second that.
Regardless of the signing statement, if the WH tries to pay those czars, Congress could call Treasurer Geithner in and ask him why he thought he could violate the law by authorizing their checks.

And in the absence of an appropriation it is against the law for these people to continut to administer. Augmenting an appropriation is a violation of either 31 U.S.C. §§ 1341(a), 1342, or 1517(a), based on the specific circumatances.

Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
I hope Obama seizes Bohner and his family and puts them in GITMO for water boadrding.
Then we can move forward.
He started breaking promises on the campaign trail.
he would only use allotted money for the presidential campaign. Then he realized that he could get foreign money and slaughtered McCain.
He said that the difference between what he wanted from health care and what hillary did were different only in the fact that he didn’t want medical mandated where as Hillary did.
The list is just so long I can’t even remember half of what he said he would do then really did. although such a list would be very helpful now to remind e-mail friends of what his campaigns look like versus what his reality looks like.
Anyone up for starting a list of lies and broken promises?
>It would be shorter to make a list of the promises he has kept and will always keep . . .<
About all that would appear on that list would be that he would support Muslims if the wind blew that way and that he was about to fundamentally change America.
Other than that it’s pretty bare
