Wow! How tee-totally AWESOME!
Have the Trump kids declared a candidacy? No?

Oh.

Never mind.

Trump’s children want to be President of the United States?

To Whom It May Concern: Trumps children are not running for President, and have expressed no desire to do so.

Natural-born means a citizen at birth, as opposed to naturalized later. Trump’s kids, like Obama, would qualify if born on Mars. Your notion that ‘natural-born’ requires both parents to be citizens is found in the Mexican constitution, but not our own.

Trump should file a suit for declaratory judgment to determine if he (TRUMP) is eligible to run.

He has a good argument that the issue needs to be cleared up. Fast track it to the SCOTUS. The ruling would be binding on... others.

Of course, The Donald is, as far as the birth requirement, eligible by whatever standard one could possibly apply. And still nevertheless completely unacceptable.

Maybe I misread it, but I thought this was a sarcastic piece or at least one that is saying that Obama really IS ineligible just like Trumps children.

If these “deniers” of the Constitution had their way, anyone who could crawl into this country by whatever means could be eligible to be POTUS!

By their logic Adolph could've visited, and his offspring would be eligible!

Yes, I have had many of them actually recognize the flaw in their Denier flawgic!

I hope Trump hits it off with Col. West in Florida and he becomes Trump’s running mate. That would nullify the race issue and allow competence to be the focus.

I question the eligibility of my own (yet unborn) grandchildren. So what? It’s not everyone who’s even remotely interested in being POTUS.

Our DAR daughter married an American born dual citizen. His parents didn’t become US citizens till he was in his teens. So, at birth he was a US citizen, but also a citizen of another country (which dual citizenship he retains to this day). Where that leaves their children, I’m not sure, but probably ineligible under a strict interpretation of the Constitution (which, of course hasn’t been strictly interpreted in some time now, and never interpreted at all on NBC).

The jus sanguinis card has not yet been played by Mr. Trump. He seems to be keeping this card in his hand for now and playing out the jus soli card.

When jus sanguinis card is played (as it should be at some point) that is when he could make a definitive statement about his children’s inability to qualify for the office of POTUS. It would only be better if Bobby Jindal was by his side and indicated the he would not be a candidate in 2012 or in the future due his lack of nbC status since his parents were not naturalized at the time of his birth.
