I question the eligibility of my own (yet unborn) grandchildren. So what? It’s not everyone who’s even remotely interested in being POTUS.
Our DAR daughter married an American born dual citizen. His parents didn’t become US citizens till he was in his teens. So, at birth he was a US citizen, but also a citizen of another country (which dual citizenship he retains to this day). Where that leaves their children, I’m not sure, but probably ineligible under a strict interpretation of the Constitution (which, of course hasn’t been strictly interpreted in some time now, and never interpreted at all on NBC).

Must say I received an email this morning including a piece witten by Walter Willams listing all the reasons why Obama will be re-elected, and it was the most depressing thing I'd ever read. Bottom line is, unfortunately, there are more of them than there are of us.
I read it too, but I must disagree with Dr. Williams. It won’t be easy to defeat Obama, but it is far from a foregone conclusion.
God didn’t send Trump into the ring to cowtow to the media. Let “His” will be done! The play book was written before man appeared on this earth.
Thanks for what amounted to a reminder for me. I try to remember always that God is in control. Sometimes that and my family, health and home are all the comfort I have.

Anybody born in the United States and whose parents are not foreign diplomats are natural citizens of the United States. That is why the Constitution would have to be amended to deal with anchor babies. Trump’s kids were born in the United States and are natural born citizens. Their mothers citizenship is irrelevant. Most people learn this fact in elementary school.
Many countries like the UK do not recognize their citizens, subjects in the UK’s case, new citizenships. Once a subject of the Queen, always a subject of the Queen. One of the reasons for the War of 1812. The Royal Navy would impress American sailors who were born in the UK because they considered them still subjects of the UK.

The jus sanguinis card has not yet been played by Mr. Trump. He seems to be keeping this card in his hand for now and playing out the jus soli card.
When jus sanguinis card is played (as it should be at some point) that is when he could make a definitive statement about his children’s inability to qualify for the office of POTUS. It would only be better if Bobby Jindal was by his side and indicated the he would not be a candidate in 2012 or in the future due his lack of nbC status since his parents were not naturalized at the time of his birth.

Yes, think that particular email is making the rounds. Just a tad scary especially coming from him. I hope and pray he’s wrong. Probably one of the reasons it’s going to take someone with a huge amount of clout, someone with a larger than life persona.
Certainly haven't thought of it that way, but I believe you're right, and I don't think he will. Probably the only one I can think of that won't. They're certainly coming at him with both barrels though.

Barry was born owing alligience to the crown of her majesty the Queen of England, inheriting that foreign citizenship by birthright from his foreign father who was here visiting as a student.
Assuming birth in HI, Barry was born a divided citizen.
The terms dual national (or multi-national) and "natural born Citizen" are mutually exclusive.

Not necessary, the issue regarding Obama is far different than the alleged argument regarding Trump and his kids.
Trumps kids were born in the U.S. Documented, verified and subsequently a non-issue........Why anyone even attempted to make this news is beyond me. But then again, throwing crap against a wall and seeing how much sticks has become the norm.
