anyone have experience with this? thanks.
I sure do. I have had the system for 4 years. Works great and I don’t pay for my home phone.
Thumbs up!
Works good but be advised “free for life” also means the life of Ooma, the company - and the life of the box you buy. If they go out of business or require an upgrade to new hardware, you’ll have to pay again. So just divide the Ooma cost by your monthly landline bill and you’ll probably get your money back in well under a year - everything after that is gravy.
Dittos to that, great system, works well, cannot tell any difference between it and landline, except when internet goes down!! LOL
I would say the same. I haven’t had it go down too often either.
Comcast will call me to ask if I want digital voice. I tell them no because I have to pay for it.
I can tell the salesperson is interested themself, but I don’t tell them what system I have. LOL
Also you are billed county taxes which is 3 dollars on average around USA. I pay the the 3 dollar a month taxes myself.
It's nice to see no $34 or more monthly bill on your bank account. Just 10 dollars and 3dollars taxes. Ooma will set you up with who you pay by Zip code. You pay thru Ooma. Ken, I hope this helps you. I wish you the best.
Also it’s nice to know if I go through a family budget squeeze I can down grade from Premier to no monthly fee but 3 dollars tax a month. 36 dollars in a year. You can not do that with any one else. No never at least not now.
I meant compared to other Phone companies. Nobody is this low and reliable for this price. I use to pay $34 per month which is $408 a year. $13 +12= $146 a year. In the long run big savings.
I like the site on that one.
Magicjack is cheaper for the same internet phone.
Magic -jack is fragile. Mine broke twice.
