Don’t like a freak disaster like this scare us into continued oil and coal dependence. Be smart.

Considering that it will be a long time before nuclear energy is capable of making my vehicle go far enough to be useable, Oil will likely be around for some time. That said, Nuclear and coal both have roles to play, and I agree that we should learn from problems and not scrub any development because of problems encountered by an older design in the face of two cataclysmic events.

You got it right...we need all sources of energy...
Nuclear
Coal
Oil
Geothermal
Wind
Solar
natural gas

Just no corn based ethanol...that one is bad for food costs and consumes too much energy to grow corn for what you get.
