"Newsmax Poll: Donald Trump Overwhelms Obama, GOP Field in 2012 Race"

Trump sure is stirring things up...and it appears it's based on the one issue.

I took part in that poll & the birth certificate had no bearing on my answers. However, the constitution did.

Lets see now... A bunch of spineless field of candidates who stick their collective fingers in the air instead of educating the electorate with forceful conviction or believability. Yeah, he’s going to make waves.

While I am certainly not sold on Donald Trump as the Republican Candidate there is one thing I CAN say for him and that is that I have yet to hear him carry on inanely about how, if elected, he will “reach out to our friends across the aisle.” Unlike McCain, Trump has some serious fight in him.

Whether or not I'm a supporter of Trump as a candidate based on his merits, I would surely support him in an opinion poll, just to rebuke the smart-alecks who ridicule Trump for raising the issue of the hidden documents. Whether Trump is a "serious" candidate or not, this is a serious issue, and I am grateful that he's speaking up. I want to see this man encouraged.

REALLLLLLY?

And which one might that be?

His "issue" re: OPEC?

His "issue" re: The Chinese?

His "issue" re: The High Price of Gas and who is responsible?

OR, his "issue" re: the Birth Certificate?

You go Donald!!!!

Good for him! Whether he runs or not, and unlike any other public figure, Trump has demonstrated a willingness to press his reputation into service on an issue of Constitutional importance. He's over the target, taking "big guns" flak and handling himself well.

My only question is, As he educates himself on the complexity of the "birther" issues---i.e., NBC, Pelosi election fraud, SSN's, etc., etc.,---will he cave or press forward to expose his findings?

If he exposed, with documentation, what Freeper researchers already know, that alone would place him in the history books.

In my own mind, it is too soon to conceive of Trump as President. I am not convinced he will be willing to set aside his "business empire," so I am not yet willing to evaluate him as a candidate. Foremost, I want a candidate who recognizes ALL the assaults on our Constitution.

BTW, Did you see this?

GOP candidates must file with FEC to enter first 2012 debate (Huh?)

and this comment by Georgia Girl 2 (I saw a June date, but nevertheless, verified fact):

"Well that will leave Trump out because legally he cannot file until the Apprentice ends at the end of May. Fox needs to re-think this thing."
