This was really sick to be sure.
I note that Stanley Armour's mom committed suicide and he got in trouble for punching out someone early in life. This makes me think of familial bipolar mania, often with delusions, which is often co-morbid with narcissism and even borderline personality disorder (talk about bad luck in the genes! Unfortunately I have a lot of experience in my extended family with these highly inheritable conditions.
A person with these co-morbid psychiatric disorders could easily name a daughter “Stanley” and also turn a daughter and a grandson over to be mentored by a pedophile, not that I know this happened, of course.

Really...
I’ll bet if someone could have interviewed Grandma Mad before she supposedly died in Hawaii (died of natural causes, murdered, still alive are the three possibilities), we would have some more discrepancies to evaluate. Unfortunately, she had a guard there in her residence to make sure no one talked to her. That person was not Maya btw, it was a man named Michael Coad.
No, many families give male names to girls. They usually change it to a feminine form of the father or grandfather’s name or put a pleasant sounding middle name after it like Georgetta, Johnnie Mae, or Clydene. I can see them naming her Stanley Ann. However, shortening it to just Stanley is something I, personally, wouldn’t do. But that’s just me. If she was so out there that she’d get pregnant by a married black man back in the days when it was taboo, then she probably relished the idea of going against the rules and using a boy’s name. IMO, Stanley fit her perfectly.
