What he found might very well have a different date of birth on it, and the maiden name of ANNA OBAMA - and that's why a forgery was required.

Poor Abercrombie, he knows the name is there on an undated index, but that's as far as he can go. One day he will get a huge shock (if he hasn't already worked it out) that the girl to whom he refers as ANN (he was there in Hawaii when her child was born) wasn't Stanley Ann Dunham. And the child 'ANN' gave birth to in Hawaii...was born in JANUARY 1961.
