The author, Micahel Patrick Leahy, works at Breitbart and was from New Hampshire. Could he be related to Senator Patrick Joseph Leahy of Vermont, third in line to the POTUS and who said NBC meant born on US soil to two US citizen parents?

He also claims Randolph as his hometown here.

and here it states, "Mr. Leahy, a descendant of Civil War and Revolutionary War enlisted soldiers, was born in 1955 in Oswego, New York. He grew up in upstate New York , graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University in 1977, and received an MBA from Stanford in 1981."
