Thanks. But that means the familysearch info is wrong. I've done genealogy for years and can't tell you how many times people post the most convoluted mixed up hogwash. As things stand now, with the dates from the familysearch looking incorrect, I'm throwing that info out.
Many obits list family members who have preceded the person in death. The Virginia/Tomlyo child is not listed.

It doesn't mean it's wrong. Maybe they were married in 1958 and she is the stepmother of the older boys. Or maybe it was 1948 and someone mistyped a "5". Why don't you contact the person that submitted it and find out? Maybe that person can get a copy of the birth certificate.

Some do, some don't. Some don't even mention living family members. Others list grandchildren. Some list parents, some don't.
