Oh, but wait. Lynne Schoen Marr, a friend of John Kolivas, has an answer for those hearts. They’re not hearts. They’re supposed to be little Afros; it’s how he always signed his name, she says. But notice it’s just a cropped out signature. Could have come from anywhere. Could have been written anytime by anyone. No CONTEXT.
In the story, Lynne says he went by Barry. She doesn’t SAY Obama, though. Lynne herself didn’t know him well. She says they started together in 5th grade. But Barry’s teachers said he started later—a year after his cohort. So why did Lynne start late, too? And since Barry was good friends with John Kolivas, another infamous Barry at Punahou informant, then why, if he’s friends with Lynne TODAY, wasn’t Lynne friends with Barry? Why aren’t there photos of Lynne in the pictures provided by “courtesy”?
Further proof it is he himself who is being discriminatory. Playing the race card with those little afros. So much for the diversity, hugs around the world and kumbayah in that picture.
