AN ACTUAL yearbook, not cropped photos with inserted captions.

Seriously?

You claim that Obama never used the surname 'Obama' prior to 1981, and when presented with multiple pieces of evidence that he did, you dismiss it all as potentially Photoshopped and move the goalposts to demand to see a physical copy of a 40-year-old private school yearbook from Hawaii?

I was expecting a high school yearbook, not grade school.

It's the same school. Punahou is K-12. Obama went to Punahou from 1971 to 1979.

Seriously? YOU’RE not paying attention, LorenC. AND I DIDN’T MOVE ANY GOALPOSTS. It was Eva who said that; I quoted Eva. I never said that he NEVER used the name prior to 1981. I pointed out that perhaps this is why you don’t SEE captions that are claimed to be on photos or in yearbooks. Then I asked if anyone has SEEN an actual yearbook.

So you come up with cropped, photoshopped pages in a news story from some obscure online paper, allegedly from a yearbook; but they would be far more convincing if they were photos of ACTUAL PAGES from the yearbooks, with CONTEXT.

I know it’s the same school. I never said it wasn’t. I said I was expecting the high school yearbook because I specifically talked about the “hoops” photo that’s all over the place, allegedly from his high school years; but again, no photo of the entire page from that supposed yearbook.

I re-read the story and now see that Lynne didn’t start late. She said she was at the school for 12 years. I assume she began in 1st grade. Interesting that the story doesn’t specifically say that Lynne was the classmate who shared these photos. It’s implied by the headline, but it’s not in the photo captions. Nobody wants their name on them, apparently.

Isn’t it odd that this photo that was supposed to be in German newspapers, of the fifth grade class, showing what all classmates are up to now, isn’t on the Web? If it is, please supply a link. Google doesn’t find it. But then again, Google likes to hide things.
