This post of yours reminds me of something besides Zero when I look at MX.
When I looked thru the Tyees from 1961 to 1964, I ran across a couple of pages in one of them devoted to a school organization dedicated to bringing young people in from Kenya to attend the University. It had a lot of forerunner PC language in the write up and some photos of students from outside the U.S. What was it with the big push on Kenya at that time? There were plenty of countries in the world with people of Negro ancestry if that’s what the reason was. Why Kenya?
