This was posted last month by a freeper, the name escapes me, who searched for all info relating info on John Paul Ludwig. He found this on ancestry.com, I believe:

The social security numbers don’t match. I would like to know how Ludwig was found under the other number......or was ancestry’s information changed.

That first one is from the California Death index (rootsweb links to it). San Luis Obispo is in CA

Searching the Social Security Death Index (linked from rootsweb) on that social security number only gives me this one entry:

UDWIG, JEAN 17 Feb 1890 Jun 1981 91 96816 (Honolulu, Honolulu, HI) 96816 (Honolulu, Honolulu, HI) Connecticut 045-26-8722

The social security numbers match in both, maybe it was a typo. I don't have any particular opinion other than Bill Ayers used identity theft when he was on the lam.

Make sure anything you use as source form Ancestry is an official document. There is lots of posting of bad info around there.

Your post is correct. Ludwig’s SS # is 045-26-8722. Obama’s starts with 042.

He didn’t have the same SS# that Obama uses.
