Has Anyone besides me noticed the eerie similarity between George Soros and Emperor Palpatine, Dark Lord of the Sith, or as he is known to the rest of the practitioners of the dark side of the force, Darth Sidious.
Darth Sidious
During the Star Wars Clone Wars three film prequel; we witness the rise of Palpatine from a Senator who manipulates public opinion and is made Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Republic. The Dark Side then uses a manufactured crisis, in this case, the clone wars, created with the aid of earlier apprentices Darth Maul and Darth Tyranus, in conjuction with the unwitting Trade Guild, the dark side brings about the collapse of the Republic.
Later, employing his greatest creation, Darth Vader, Palpatine orchestrates the destruction of the Jedi order. Thus making way for Palpatine to declare himself Emperor of the Totalitarian Galactic Empire.
Darth Vader
George Soros, instead chose to manipulate political forces completely from the shadows. Utilizing national war fatigue, Soros and his unwitting ally the mainstream media, manipulate public opinion so that the left side seizes control of congress.
Darth Insidious?
Recognizing that the success of the surge in Iraq coupled with the unfulfilled promises that the left side made to end the war would not enable the left side to take over the White House. The Emperor, I mean Soros Uses his apprentices Barney Frank and Rahm Emanuel to orchestrate a collapse of the economic infrastructure of the country.
This made it possible for his greatest apprentice, an unlikely inexperienced junior senator from Illinois, a fellow just two years removed from not having the means to rent a car for himself. Yet, with the full weight of Soros resources, He is raised to the presidency of the United States.
Darth Marxus?
How long before we have an Emperor of the Totalitarian American States?

Uncanny.
The Sith are actually pretty conservative. They believe in small government. Two guys to run the Galaxy.
Yeah, but I don’t want to wait until one of Obamican’s gets his arm cut off....
Chinese merchantilists.
The Sith are actually pretty liberal. They believe in the rule of the emperor and expect total loyalty to the government (Empire).
Hmmmm, food for thought!
I think I will just refer to Soros as Darth Anus from now on.
You know, I think Darth Rectum or Darth Sphincter will work just as well, too.

“Darth Anus”.
I love it! This thread is too much fun, thanks!
This is the only good use of this shabby myth I’ve ever come across. It will serve.
I mean, the names are so stupid. Palpatine, Darth Sidius? I saw the first Star Wars and remember being truly amazed by it’s moronic screenplay.
