I think all the “cuts” that are going to be made, have already been done. Pathetic.

Boehner didn’t get the November 2010 message apparently nor did several others. It’s time for The Tea Party to publish names of those we need to vote out in 2012 and those we need to find candidates to replace.

Hmmmm. All I hear is, “Blaaa Blaaa Blaaa.”

One step at a time. Give him support, it is hard to be called called down for ever forward move. Of course, the republicans do not have the power to make these changes , they are not in power, they only have the house, if all stand by their party. Criticism comes easy. Change is difficult and hard won.
Get behind John and pray for his strength and success in this endeavor. Ask God to forgive us our wanton ways and to block funding of planned parenthood. Which is a huge expensive death machine to our population growth in America. Wrong on any level. Rare is it that a woman might die because of childbirth. It is a risk of being alive. To abort millions of babies is sinful, before God and we are receiving troubles caused by it. MO

The House did the cut. The democratically controlled senate did not, and obama did not.

sometimes you have to replace a player when he aint cutting the mustard...too many strikeouts, foul balls and weak singles..we need a power hitter aiming for the fences in order to get doubles and triples...

It’s bad enough to hear this, `Make no mistake about it’ semantic chin-music from Zero.
To: rolling_stone
good analogy, Boehner is like a hitter that is only good for sacrifice hits to (hopefully) advance the runner. Too bad all our Republicans on base are like Thurman Munson or Lou Pinella which run like molasses.
To: RnMomof7
We don't have the senate or the white house. Boehner cut nearly the best deal we would have got.
Its not perfect by any measure, but its is a good start, and they can still tackle planned 'parenthood' later. Its easy to sit in a chair trash the Republicans on the internet, but in reality nobody could have done much better.

We have to start somewhere and Boehner is doing that.
Until we have the Senate and the WH, the GOP doesn't have the power. <
It's amazing that people actually believe that Boehner can achieve it alone. Do they have a CLUE as to how it works in DC?
I THINK NOT.
To: rolling_stone
I agree. Give him a break, he did inherit a tough and difficult job. I repeat it is impossible to force it. If we close down areas of the government, we know the liberals always, always make it effect the firemen, police, senior services, children's lunches, etc. not the hundreds of millions in dumb unnecessary, discretionary spending of ear marks, etc.
so of course, many of the denied services raise outcry and everyone begins to cave at home. It is impossible to make all the conservatives toe the line when they are in trouble at home
IT IS A DIFFICULT CONUNDRUM TO BREAK THROUGH.
a TURN OUT OF ALL THE ENTRTENCHED MIGHT HELP.

I totally agree with you. We need the House, Senate and the White House. With the Dems stuck on stupid, it will come and last for many, many years.
