Donald Trump has written a letter complaining about me.
“Her storytelling ability and word usage (coming from me, who has written many bestsellers), is not at a very high level,” he penned.
Although Trump and I have had our differences in the past, I never felt it was personal. In fact, until now, I have refrained from noting that I once got an aggrieved message from him in which he misspelled the word “too.”
But about the letter. Mainly, it’s a list of alleged evidence that Barack Obama was not born in the United States. Trump has made this the centerpiece of his faux presidential campaign, falling further and further into the land of the lunatic fringe. I find this a disturbing spectacle — a little like seeing a guy you know from the neighborhood suddenly turn up in the middle of Times Square with his face painted blue and yelling about space aliens.
“Bill Ayers wrote ‘Dreams From My Father,’ I have no doubt about it,” Trump told Joe Scarborough, who reported on Politico.com.
Ayers is the former ’60s radical who became a huge Republican talking point in 2008 because he had once given a house party for Obama when he was running for state senate. It’s a pretty big jump from coffee and cookies to writing an entire book, but I guess that’s what neighbors are for....

Here’s the dirty secret - I will spell it all out.
DNC types know Obama cannot win. So someone has to destroy him. But it cannot be the RIGHT, because they’d get credit for being correct. It has to be done by someone like Hillary - but not look like it came from her. And she’s the only player on their side with ANY Stature left. (Gore? Dean? Kerry?) And they need to BLAME the right, to play pity on the idiots in the middle and secure their base from demoralization.
Meanwhile over in the pigcrap pit called the RNC.... they also have a problem. A female problem of a different nature.
The fix will be - RNC shanks Palin, in exchange for removing Obama and replacing him with a contest of Hillary versus Anyone But Palin (or Bachmann or Tea Party).
It’s coming.
Third party and the streets are the only answer and our last stand.

But what do I now (know?)? I barely graduated from Columbia in New York with a degree in political science in the 1980s. I think that the professors felt sorry for me, so they gave me passing grades just so they could get rid of me at Columbia.
I think it was 1981. I had transferred to Columbia from Occidental in California.
I love Trump but not for the usual reason that I want him to win (although I wouldn’t mind). The GOP needs straw men and women to drive the issues so that the winner can be seen as moderate to the voters. I always thought that the Clinton genius was Carville and company doing all the dirty work so Clinton can stay clean.
A Stalking Horse candidate is a good thing and if he manages to actually pull it off he deserves my vote.

Before quoting it as “objective”, Collins should follow the Factcheck.org trial, the Annenberg funded operation. Ayers and Obama both served on the board of Annenberg.
Pretty clever for them to get ahead of all of this, set up “Factcheck.org” as some pristine de facto truth and attempt to sandbag any and all real threats to Obama.They knew he was a miserable can of worms going in, they needed a deflection strategy.
And Lord knows the lib stooges in the media have quoted “Factcheck.org” as the highest standard in insisting the COLB is perfect in every way, even though there is huge evidence indicating it is a fraudulent photoshop creation generated in 2007.
Trump really should apprise himself of Ron Polarik’s amazing analysis that decontructs and exposes it in micro detail.
