Donald Trump Strikes Back (He's making the right enemies, just like Sarah)
The New York Times ^ | April 8, 2011 | Gail Collins

Posted on 04/08/2011 10:34:26 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

Donald Trump has written a letter complaining about me.

“Her storytelling ability and word usage (coming from me, who has written many bestsellers), is not at a very high level,” he penned.

Although Trump and I have had our differences in the past, I never felt it was personal. In fact, until now, I have refrained from noting that I once got an aggrieved message from him in which he misspelled the word “too.”

But about the letter. Mainly, it’s a list of alleged evidence that Barack Obama was not born in the United States. Trump has made this the centerpiece of his faux presidential campaign, falling further and further into the land of the lunatic fringe. I find this a disturbing spectacle — a little like seeing a guy you know from the neighborhood suddenly turn up in the middle of Times Square with his face painted blue and yelling about space aliens.

“Bill Ayers wrote ‘Dreams From My Father,’ I have no doubt about it,” Trump told Joe Scarborough, who reported on Politico.com.

Ayers is the former ’60s radical who became a huge Republican talking point in 2008 because he had once given a house party for Obama when he was running for state senate. It’s a pretty big jump from coffee and cookies to writing an entire book, but I guess that’s what neighbors are for....

They were MUCH MORE than neighbors Gail, as I'm sure you already know.

Ayers is the former ’60s radical

Terrorist, not mere "radical." And an unrepentant terrorist at that.

As for Trump, he's making all the right enemies.

Hell, even she is reporting about Obama... even if she tries to deny it is still in the NY-Times

Liberals are funny stupid creatures. Like knuckle dragging trolls

Wow, this reporterette is trying way too hard ... “his face painted blue and yelling about space aliens.” The only response (since there’s no legal evidence to corroborate Obama’s nativity myth) is to smear anyone who talks about it. It’s kind of comical if it wasn’t so pathetic.

Haha is it bad that I seriously had no idea who Gail Collins even was before all of this happened?

One thing I like about Trump, is he doesn't take any crap from the liberal media. He gets right in their faces and gives it back to them and he doesn't hesitate to cut them off or interrupt them. I figure the liberals are going to start a drumbeat that Trump is too “angry” and doesn't have the temperament to be president. That seems to be the angle they use on any Republican candidate that doesn't approach them meekly, hat-in-hand acting as if they need the liberal medias acceptance and approval to run for president as a Republican.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Alleged sexual degenerate, perverted rapist, and known terrorist, not mere ‘radical’. And not only unrepentant, but proud of it. He said he wishes he had done more.

The shooter in Tucson went to one of the schools he was associated with setting up - that’s fallen out of the news, but is as true now as it was when it was reported.

And the woman who wrote this article complaining about Donald Trump claims he’s falling into the fringe, when what’s really happening is that what was the fringe is now woven into whole-cloth. But as it seems her head is still spinning, she might need a while to figure that out.

Ah, Boortz the Libertarian = Ron Paul? Age 77 years more cranky in 2012.

You know, I do not know who he is for. He was just ripping Palin supporters and did not talk “nice” about Trump.

Wow - Gail demonstrated some serious self-control never noting (until now) that Donald Trump once misspelled a word. I want to thank Gail for coming up with such a convincing non-sequitur which demonstrates that whatever Donald Trump says is wrong.

Oops! “worst” should have been “worse”. (Now I suppose Gail will get on my case for misspelling a word.)
