Fortunately that deflection, not undermin[ing] the citizens confidence in our government, is becoming more and more flimsy as the citizen’s confidence erodes due to 1) cover-ups and deflections like these, 2) lack of real action regarding debt/spending, 3) lack of real action securing the border, 4) weasel-wordings like “kinetic military action” to avoid accountability.
