I agree Jmouse....why people just keep on riding the fence on this is beyond my ability to understand...if a muslim continues attending an Islamic Mosque...reads the Koran...and follows Islam then he is supporting the Islamic Doctrine and Ideology period.
Though many muslims who want to think differently and still retain their Islamic beliefs....the only way they can know peace or have any chance in the world outside Islam is to deny it...turn away from the Koran which promotes hatred and death and killing....and those who adhere to it. There is no middle ground though they are frantically trying hard to find one.
It;s not there...Islam is dangerous to all.

Well Jones is a radical himself....in great debt he needs another story to ramp himself up so his motive is anything but honorable in the matter.. Like other extremeists he may have the right issue down but his approach isn’t exactly smart...nor will it bring the desired end he wants from doing so... except to line his pockets.
as always when an extremist makes the news the media is on it and runs it for all it’s worth in order to have viewers...it isn’t about Jones...it’s about the media gaining monetary benifit by milking this story out.
Just exactly as Karsi has....for it was he who made this known to his people and then to the clerics and nutbasket cases....and since the people have no brain matter they simply follow their “religious” leaders and mount up, arm up, and go out to insite trouble and death.... That equation is not going to change.

Even if true it’s irrelevant. Again, blaming Jones for the violence resulting from exercising his free speech is no different than blaming Sarah Palin for what happened to Gabrielle Giffords and the others killed by a nutbag in Tuscon.
We cannot and should not let our right to express ourselves freely in this country be dictated by fears of what the lowest common denominator of the dregs of humanity might do.

Agreed. Which is why it pains me to hear and read some “conservative commentators” jumping on Jones when, just a few months ago, they were decrying the same tactics used against Palin and themselves!

Even Hannity had Jones on and was trying to push him in the corner. Using Petraus’s words not good for American troops and putting them in danger. I got so annoyed I said aloud in my car...Hannity! These people don’t need an excuse to kill our shoulders...it’s there agenda for crying out loud!
Alas...media wants the stories they can milk and draw viewers by...in fact with Fox I consider who owns the stocks and that influence...Fox has become more and more tolerant of that which they once would not have. Me thinks the muzzy influence does play a role now.
If a devout Christian commits sin in the public eye, he may feel remorse for the way others will view the faith because of him, and apologize.
If a devout Muslim kills an innocent bystander for something that happened half-a-world away, he will justify such an act as his religious duty to defend his faith.

Most Americans do not realize that there basically is not much difference between Afghan and American muslims — they all believe in the same Koran and adhere to its teachings.
The latter are quiet for now because they are still in the minority and more importantly, we have the 2nd Amendment.

I’m with you. Koran burning should be a new tradition in this country. Fireworks on July 4th- Koran burning on Sept 11. And let the world know this is happening in backyards across the US- not just in one church. Millions of Korans- and no one can stop it!

This is the 800 pound gorilla in the room: You have 1/5th of the entire population of the world following Islam, a so-called "religion" who's major tenants of faith are as follows:
Everyone who does not believe in Allah or his prophet Mohammed is an INFIDEL.
According to Mohammed, the Koran, the Hadith and Islam, INFIDELS are only allowed one of three choices:
1) The can convert to Islam by choice or by force (Threat of death if they do not convert).
2) If the Infidel refuses the above, his second "choice" is this: He can become a slave under Islamic masters and subject to Shariah law.
3) If the Infidel refuses to submit to either of the above "choices" the third and last "choice" open to him is this: he can DIE for his faith or lack of faith (according to Islam, their method of death for INFIDELS is beheading so if you refuse choices 1 or 2 above, they cut your head off! Isn't Islam "wonderful"?)
One more thing; should you convert to Islam, there is no going back. If you decide to leave Islam for ANY reason the penalty is DEATH! Again, Isn't Islam "wonderful"?
This is how Islam views 4/5ths of the world's population: we are "INFIDELS" and the enemies of Islam and this is the only offer Islam makes to the INFIDELS of the world = convert, become a slave or die.
This wouldn't be such a problem if Islam did not also have a violent political/territorial goal as well.
According to the teachings of Islam: Mohammed, the Koran, the Hadith; it's stated goal is world domination: to conquer the entire world for Allah and to subject the entire world to Islam by choice or by force through Jihad in order to create a worldwide Islamic theocracy. This means that Islam (1.5 BILLION people, 1/5th of the people on earth) is at war with everyone else on earth who is not a Muslim and all of the nations of the world which are not Islamic nations!

Islam has declared war on the world and is doing everything within it's power to obtain and fulfill all of the above stated "choices" and goals. This is the reason why people (the West, etc...)keep on riding the fence, making excuses, seek to placate the Islamists. They do not want to face reality: If Islam has declared war on us (which it has) and they are deadly serious (which they are), then we are at war with millions upon millions of people who are hell-bent on converting, enslaving or killing us and we therefore have to defend ourselves. This means millions of people will die, and a massive amount of property will be destroyed, lost or stolen/confiscated in order to be victorious.
Instead of facing reality, because it is so frightening and no one wants to go through another world war (especially with religious fanatics who are taught and believe they are guaranteed "heaven/paradise" if they die fighting the "infidels". Then they gain immediate entrance to a pornographic "heaven" where the men will have perpetual hard-ons 24/7 and be sexually serviced by 72 virgins along with young boys that they can abuse and rape to their hearts content); politicians and "leaders", the main stream media and people in general would rather placate the Islamists, deny or hide the facts, or stick their heads in the sand with their fingers in their ears and act like it is not happening.
Muslims generally behave better as a minority. There was a study about that, I wish I had the source, anyway when the become the majority they try to change the society they are in. Denmark anyone?
