This guy speaks lik a bad comic book! There are many guilty parties: the Arab world which celebrates this type of killing (those scenes in Gaza where they handed out sweets in celebration of the murders; the Obama administration with its constant bashing of Israel and whining that Jews do not belong in the land of their ancestors; Bibi himself for showing cowardice again and again to the Messiah and the Muslim world; successive governments of Israel which were too cowardly to expell the Arabs because of fear of world opinion; etc.

This is the crux of it. (Analogous to: “I’m not black but I have a black friend.”)The rest can be taken at face value as the stereotypical turn the other cheek until your enemy gets tired of slapping you around...which never happens.
He equates the enmity between the brits and the Irish as something that just gradually resolved itself. Fact is, the brits won. They never gave an inch on Ireland, until Ireland capitulated.
