The congressman included “reading the Constitution” as part of the ‘silly things’ so there is truth there. Honestly though I did think it was a stretch to make the attack and I felt that it was journalistic behavior more suited to those on the left.

Media Matters lives on grandiose exaggeration and when the Soros money dries up they’ll need a little more substance. If they are able to get tax exempt status as a non-partisan educational institution then there is no justice in the tax code. It is an arm of the Democratic Party!

Well, you are trying to be a reasonable and fair-minded person by characterizing it as a “stretch”. Fine, all well and good. Trouble is, these are ‘Rats we are dealing with, and they will use our reasonableness and fair-mindedness against us. We are conservatives, and so by nature are inclined to give people the benefit of the doubt, be reasonable and fair. The ‘Rats are none of that, they are liberals. No one expects that of them, so they are free to run roughshod over any conservative, say whatever they want, and not be held accountable. All I'm saying is, not no more of that. They are going to be called out for their statements, they are going to be held to account. We can't let them get away with their crap. Does that mean foregoing being reasonable and fair? Of course not, but no more Mister Nice Guy turning the other cheek, at least in the political realm.
