Even if real, the solution is more-so.
Keep short accounts and remain in fellowship with God through faith in Christ.
There will be a Great Apostasy before the Great Tribulation.
Where there is willful sin after a knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins. So a repentance and confession is again required for forgiveness. Keep short accounts and keep the candles lit and oil ready.
Daily, ongoing, constant prayer/confession/repentance
a way of life, imho.
ALONG WITH CONSTANT FORGIVING others, self,
and laying aside any and all resentments toward God for not running the universe and our lives per our sensibilities.
I agree, the end time deception will indeed be great!
2 Thessalonians 2:3 (New American Standard Bible) 3 Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction,
I recently heard that the normal translation from the Greek of this word apostasy, or falling away in other English translations, in this verse is debatable.. more like taking away instead of falling away? I am not a Greek scholar so I am not sure and I thought I would ask on FR when your post reminded me of it.
