“Another thing that makes this inappropriate is that they are wearing it with their uniform,” she said. “All the services have several-hundred-page regulations about what is appropriate and is not appropriate to wear with the uniform, and we have very strict guidelines … You are representing the United States government. You are wearing the U.S. military uniform, and it confuses what you are representing when you add this to the uniform.”

AMEN!

And frankly, I think female presence in combat military, on ships and among troops that have always been the province of men, those on the front lines -- and especially on submarines and ships -- women should be out of it. ABSENT. Women already have a job in this thing we call survival -- having and taking care of babies. MEN have the job of protecting us.

I am a woman and I understand wholly that men -- men -- are the sole protectors of women. All the things we have, ladies, all our freedoms and riches, we have, whether we like it or not, because our guys have protected our access to equality in the American way.

Women, please have the kindness to bow out of combat roles in the military, with the possible exception of pilots, as I've heard that women do well there as effective fighters. This isn't a game, it's for real. A mixed crew submarine is going to lose to an all-male crewed enemy. Count on it. This is deliberate sabotage of our armed forces to make them weak. Ladies, we should have the balls, if you'll pardon the expression, to BOW OUT.

Addendum to "Ladies, Bow Out!"

Or perhaps they could create all-female special forces, as some women would make terrifying warriors. Segregate by sex -- that's sex, not "gender," which is a grammatical term referring to linguistic origin. In Spanish, a tree is "male," and windshield wipers are "female." That is, literally, their gender.

They don't have a sex. People and most every other creature on the earth -- belong to one of two sexes: male or female.

Substitution of the word "gender" for "sex" is devious.
