No way, really. Too busy celebrating Human Achievement Hour, with as full a fusillade of candle power as I could muster. You?

I think I was playing one of the Text Twist word games on this computer while watching TV, with a four-light (non-CFL) overhead fan twirling away right next to the a/c flowing from its ceiling vent. I did my best to celebrate Earth’s bounty of fossil fuels.
That isn’t what we were supposed to do? Will have to do better next time...wait, there might not be a next time? Oh well...

Earth Hour?
Never even heard of it. I would never participate in this anyway. Good too see that people ignored it.

It reminds me of people who turn their engines off at railroad crossings. It takes more fuel to “power up” the engine than to leave it running. I’d bet a dollar that turning the lights back on after an hour used more energy than if they’d just left them on. Especially CFL’s which take a while to warm up.
