I'm going to add Lynyrd Skynyrd. Took a step back after the crash, but still a decent band. But they've somehow become the epitome of "southern rock" in the minds of many, and they just ain't that good.

Always figured them second to the Allman Brothers, but Skynyrd seems to get the press.
