“A lot of people who got waivers were … people who are our friends.”

Couldn’t have been said more clearly.

I think they planned this purposely so that the states, most of which cannot afford to implement the bill, will have to turn to the government; therefore, the government will have to “take over” the states work, which will eventually strengthen the fed gvt more and eventually lead to a one-payor system.

Every state should seek a waiver. This is ridiculous.

At what point does a state or other institution sue the government over the process in which waivers are granted?

Where are the frickin rules that govern qualification for waivers???

When is someone going to stand up and say BS on all these waivers, challenging WHY they were granted?

The waivers from Obamacare, are a clear power grab by the Executive branch.

By exercising the granting or denial of waivers, the Exectutive branch can wield control over private and public institutions, businesses and citizens that they could never otherwise constitutionally control. If you don’t tow the line, waiver denied - your taxes / expenses go up with no other action required.

The idiots in the Senate and House of Representatives let their power be removed and made themselves irrelevant.

"The Bill and I are one" - Anthony Weiner, at a 2010 Town Hall meeting secretly videotaped. He also claims to have read every page of the bill at that time.

Jerk-off knows he won't get re-elected if New Yawkehs ever have to live under obozo care. Hell, he may not even stay above room temperature.

If only Weiner’s first name was Richard. He is a scumbag even before this, so this is fitting for him to do this.

Tell you what. Let’s get rid of the entire bill. Wavering it will keep it there for them to declare it anytime they wish.
